중·고등학생의 학업적 의지통제전략의 차이

국문 초록

본 연구는 중․고등학생을 대상으로 개인별 특성(학년, 성, 성적)에 따라 학업적 의지통제가 차이가 있는지, 개인적 특성 변인들은 학업적 의지통제를 얼마나 설명하는지를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전북지역 중학교 2개교 2학년 150명, 고등학교 2개교 2학년 150명으로 부터 자료를 수집하여 최종 264명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 중고등학생들의 학업적 의지통제는 유의한 차이가 없다. 둘째, 성별에 따라 학업적 의지통제는 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 동기통제의 경우에는 여학생이 남학생보다 유의하게 높았다. 셋째, 성적에 따라 학업적 의지통제는 유의한 차이가 있다. 넷째, 성적은 학업적 의지통제에 약 6.7%의 설명력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 추론해 볼 때, 학년과 성, 성적은 정서통제보다 동기통제 요인에 더 크게 작용하며 성적이 학업적 의지통제의 주요 원인들 중 하나임을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the differences and degree of explanation in academic volitional control strategies by ages, gender, grades for middle and high school students. Subjects included 115 middle school students and 149 high school students. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, there was no statistically significant differences in academic volitional control strategies of middle and high school students. Second, there was no statistically significant differences in academic volitional control strategies by gender, but in the case of motivational control, female students were statistically significantly higher than male students. Third, there was a statistically significant difference in academic volitional control strategies by grades. Forth, the Multiple Regression analysis showed that grades was the predictor(6.7%) of academic volitional control strategies. Judging from the results of this study, ages, gender, and grades play a greater role in motivational control than emotional control, suggesting that grades are one of the main reasons for academic volitional control strategies.
