영문 초록

Although the incidence of early gastric cancer has been increased, there still remains about 3 to 27% T4 cancer which requires multiorgan combined resection for curative intend. Only one fourth of T4 cancer, which has no incurable factors such as peritoneal dissemination, distant metastasis and extensive lymphatic spread, is available for R0 resection. This article reviewed the significance, surgical procedures and survival benefit of combined organ resection for the locally advanced T4 gastric cancer.
