국문 초록

본 연구는 통합형 직업교육 거점학교에서 지적장애학생의 직무개발 및 배치업무를 담당하는 교사들의 인식과 경험을 알아보고 장애학생의 직무개발과 취업을 위한 효율적인 방안을 탐색하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 경기도 내 통합형 직업교육 거점학교에서 직무개발 및 배치업무를 담당한 특수교사 5인을 대상으로 지적장애학생의 직무개발과 배치업무에서의 교사의 인식과 어려움을 알아보고 효율적인 개선방안 도출을 위해 질적연구를 실시하였다. 이에 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지적장애학생의 직무개발 및 배치업무에 대한 교사의 인식은 직무개발 및 배치 전담 인력 현황, 직무개발 및 배치과정에서의 고용주의 요구, 취업 의뢰 시 준비과정, 직업유지 기간, 직업유지를 위한 적합직종, 주요 취업처 등으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사가 겪는 어려움은 교육청 지원의 부족, 중증장애학생 지도의 어려움, 직업개발 담당자 부족, 교사업무 병행의 어려움, 취업지도의 한계 등으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이를 통한 개선방안 제시로 다양한 직종개발, 공공서비스 지원확대, 사회인식 변화, 교사의 전문성 강화 등을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study investigated the teachers work consciousness and experience in job development and placement process of students with intellectual disabilities in the field of special education. The participants of this study were five special teachers who have experienced vocational development and placement process for students with intellectual disabilities in Gyeonggi Province. The data collection consisted of deep-interview and transcribed the contents. And data analysis consisted through coding, one of qualitative research. The result of this study was follows as. First, the experiences of teachers in the course of job development and placement process of students with intellectual disabilities appeared as the status of occupational development and placement personnel, needs of employer, preparation for employment, period of job maintenance, major workplace. Second, the difficulties which faced the teachers appeared as the lack of Education Office support, the difficulties of students with severe disabilities, insufficiency of job development staff, difficulty of teacher work paralleling, limitation of employment guidance. Conclusion, this study suggested development of various job types, expansion of public service support, change of social perception, reinforcement of teacher professionalism.
