국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 지체장애인근로자의 특성을 파악하고 직업유지 결정요인을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2005년 장애인실태조사 원자료를 활용하여 이차자료분석을 하였다. 분석대상은 취업상태에 있는 만15세 이상의 지체장애인 근로자 698명이다. 분석을 위해 기술 분석과 최적화 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 먼저 지체장애인 근로자의 특성으로는 중증장애인 근로자의 비율이 낮고 평균 학력은 중학교 중퇴, 월평균 임금은 약 125만원이었다. 상용근로자보다는 임시근로자와 일용근로자의 비율이 더 높았으며 약1/4이 시간제로 근무하고 있었고 근무기간은 4년 미만인 경우가 절반 이상이었다. 직장생활의 애로사항으로는 낮은 수입과 업무과다를 호소했으며 직장생활에서의 차별경험은 소득, 동료관계, 승진 순으로 나타났으며 국민연금 가입률은 저조하였다. 다음으로 최적화회귀분석결과, 여성보다 남성이, 연령은 많을수록, 학력이 낮을수록, 본인이 운전을 하는 경우에, 일상생활동작능력점수가 낮을수록, 전일제보다는 시간제가, 월평균 수입은 많을수록 직업유지기간이 길었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 지체장애인근로자의 안정적 직업유지를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the Current Situation of the workers with physical disabilities in Korea and identify the factors influencing job Maintenance. This study uses the data on the national survey on people with disabilities which was conducted in 2005. Secondary data analysis was used as methods of analysis. The subjects for the study are composed of 698 workers with physical disabilities at the age of 15 and over. The data were analyzed by using statistical techniques including descriptive analysis and optimal scaling regression. The results of study were as follows: First, the Current situation of the workers with physical disabilities was reviewed to general characteristics and working condition. Second, using logistic regression analysis, the Job maintenance was analyzed with demographic factors, disability factors, job-related factors. Among these factors, variables of sex, age, education, self-driving, ADL, type of work, monthly incomes have statistically significant effect on the job maintenance. This study will contribute to developing knowledge about the workers with physical disabilities s characteristics and provide practical implications for intervention strategies related to promoting their job maintenance.
