통합적 관점으로 본 체육 교사의 수업지식 활용과 어려움

국문 초록

본 연구는 체육학 전공 학위를 소지한 체육 교사가 활용하는 수업지식의 특성을 분석하고, 수업 운영에서 겪는 어려움이 무엇인지를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 체육학 학위를 소지한 초등교사 2명, 중등교사 3명과의 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 Spradley(1979)의 영역분석과 분류분석을 토대로 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들은 다양한 교수 방법이 공존하는 수업을 운영하였다. 동기 유발하기, 효율적인 신체활동 지도하기, 팀 활동의 가치 제공하기 등의 다양한 수업 방식을 통해 그들만의 수업지식을 활용하였다. 둘째, 진정한 가르침을 방해하는 장애물과 관련하여 현장에서 버림받은 문서와 온전한 수업 운영을 가로막는 장벽으로 인하여 수업 운영의 어려움을 피력하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 체육교과의 가치를 실현하는 방안으로 교사의 다양한 교과 내용 지식을 통한 수업지식의 함양과 현장과 시대를 반영하는 체육 관련 문서의 변화에 대한 필요성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of classroom knowledge used by physical education teachers and to show the importance of knowledge required for them by exploring the difficulties in classroom management. Two elementary school teachers and three middle school teachers, each with a different degree in physical education, were interviewed in depth to collect data with various features. The collected data were analyzed using domain analysis and taxonomic analysis proposed by Spradley(1979). The results can be divided into two major categories. First, teachers used various teaching methods, and their own classroom knowledge was utilized through various teaching methods such as motivation, efficient physical activity instruction, and team activities. Second, the difficulty of classroom management due to obstacles for true teaching, barriers in the field, and barriers to complete classroom operation. Based on these results, it was suggested to cultivate the knowledge of the classes through various contents knowledge of teachers and to change the physical education documents that actively reflect the field and the age in order to realize the value of physical education curriculum.
