미술중점 고등학교의 교육과정 운영에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 현재 시행되고 있는 미술중점학교 운영 현황을 점검하고 활성화 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 미술중점학교인 서울특별시 S여자고등학교를 선정하여 교장, 부장교사, 교사, 학생을 대상으로 인터뷰, 수업관찰 등을 실시하였다. 인터뷰 속에 나타난 미술중점학교의 교육과정 운영 실태를 살펴본 결과 미술중점학교 교육정책의 긍정적 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 인터뷰 결과를 요약하면 미술과에 대한 전반적인 인식 개선을 가져왔으며, 공교육을 통해 예술교육을 정상화할 수 있었고, 공교육에 대한 불신을 교육과정의 전문화와 프로그램 다양화를 통해 어느 정도 극복하고 있었다. 그 외에 체험학습, 봉사활동, 교내 행사, 동아리 활동 등의 다양한 프로그램의 도입으로 학생들의 다양한 체험과 학습경험을 유도하고 있었다. 또한 수업관찰에 나타난 미술중점학교 교육과정과 교수학습은 미술중점학교 편성운영지침에 따라 운영되고 있으며, 다양한 실기위주의 창의력 증진 수업활동을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 미술중점학교 활성화를 위해서는 수업의 전문성 신장을 위한 교사 연수 및 세미나 등의 강화, 소통, 수평적 상호작용, 공감 등이 이루어질 수 있는 수업활동과 방안의 마련 등이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study is to examine the current state of the curriculum management at an art-focused school, and to suggest the way to activate it. For these purposes, S girls high school in Seoul has been selected, and then interviews, class observations targeting the principal, the teachers, and the students were collected. Examining the curriculum of art schools focus appeared in interviews, it was found that these Art-focused school policy is effective. According to all the results from the interview analysis, art-focused school has brought overall improvement of the recognition on art department, and normalized art education through public education, and also somewhat overcame the distrust of public education by professionalizing curriculum and verifying programs. Besides, it also has lead students to have diverse experiences and learning experiences by introducing various kinds of programs such as work-study program, volunteer work, school events, and club activities. In addition, they have been obeyed the guideline for curriculum organizing operation, done creativity-enhancing classroom activities focused on lots of practical techniques. There are improvement points lead by the analysis results: reinforcement of teacher training and seminar to improve the teaching professionalism, classroom activities and methods which enables communication, horizontal interaction, empathy.
