교육학적 분위기 담론에 대한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

분위기에 대한 연구는 분위기가 가지는 비합리성과 분위기연구가 가지는 연구방법상의 난점으로 인문사회과학에서는 거의 다루어지지 못했다. 교육학에서의 분위기연구 또한 매우 제한적으로만 이루어졌고, 교육 및 학습과 관련하여 분위기 담론을 지금까지 논의한 사람은 Bollnow와 Bollnow의 영향을 받은 Van Manen과 같은 현상학자들로 제한된다. 실제로 일상에서의 의사소통과정을 분석해보면 분위기는 교육과 학습에 있어서 매우 중요한 의미와 역할을 담당한다. 분위기에 따라 교육과 학습은 큰 영향을 받지만 이에 대한 연구는 일천하다. 특히 우리나라의 경우 분위기담론을 교육담론과 체계적으로 연계해서 논의한 연구 또한 매우 미비하다. 본 연구에서는 우선 교육학에서 분위기담론을 연구해 온 Bollnow와 Van Manen의 입장을 다룬 후, 철학적 분위기담론을 논의함으로써 그 교육학적 의미를 탐색한다. Bollnow는 교육학적 관점에서의 분위기 담론은 부모와 자녀, 교사와 학생간의 관계적 차원의 분위기를 언급하였다면 Van Manen은 교사와 학교의 관점에서 교육적 행위의 차원에서의 분위기를 논의하였다. 이 둘의 입장은 철학적 논의에 의해 확장되는데 이에 따르면 분위기는 인간의 관계성을 넘어서 공간성과 물질성에까지 이른다. 본 연구는 향후 교육연구담론에서의 분위기연구에 대한 이론적 토대를 제공하려고 한다.

영문 초록

The study of the atmosphere has been hardly handled in the humanities and social sciences due to the irrationality of the atmosphere and difficulty in the research method of the atmosphere research. The atmosphere research in pedagogy is also very limited, and the people who have discussed the atmosphere discourse so far in relation to education and learning are limited to phenomenologists such as Van Manen influenced by Bollnow and also Bollnow. In fact, analyzing the communication process in everyday life, the atmosphere plays a very important role and role in education and learning. Depending on the mood, education and learning are greatly affected, but the research on this is very limited. Especially, in Korea, there is very little research that systematically linked the atmosphere discourse with educational discourse. In this study after discussing the positions of Bollnow and Van Manen who have studied the atmosphere discourse in pedagogy, I explored the pedagogical meaning by discussing the atmosphere discourse of philosopher and aesthetist Böhme. Bollnow argued that if the atmosphere discourse in the pedagogical viewpoint mentions the mood of the relationship between parents, children, teachers and students while Van Manen discussed the atmosphere at the level of educational activities from the viewpoint of teachers and schools. The position of these two is expanded by Böhme, according to which the atmosphere goes beyond human relation to space and materiality. The purpose of this study is to provide the theoretical foundation for the study of atmosphere in discourse of educational research.
