국내 내현적 자기애 연구 동향: 주요 상담학술지를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 내현적 자기애에 연구동향을 분석하고, 후속 연구를 위한 방향성을 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국교육학술정보원(RISS) 및 국가과학기술정보센터(NDSL)에서 ‘내현적 자기애’를 검색하여 2002년부터 2018년까지 KCI에 등재된 학술지 논문 50편을 연구대상으로 선정하였고, 연구년도, 연구대상, 사용 척도, 연구방법, 연구 변인별로 나누어 살펴보았다. 연구결과 내현적 자기애에 대한 연구는 2002년도에 처음으로 등장하였고 2012년부터 점차 연구가 증가하기 시작하였다. 대상별로는 대학생을 대상으로 많은 연구가 진행되었다. 사용 척도로는 2002년에 개발 및 타당화된 내현적 자기애 척도가 주로 사용되었다. 연구방법으로는 양적연구가 압도적으로 많았고, 그 중에서도 변인간 관계연구가 대다수였다. 내현적 자기애는 독립변인으로써 많이 사용되어 다양한 종속변인과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구에서는 연구대상과 연구방법, 연구변인의 다양화를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends of covert narcissism in Korea and provide different methods for future study. Methods: For this purpose, Covert Narcissism was searched in RISS and NDSL, and 50 articles from 2002 to 2018 were selected. Furthermore, the study examined the articles by way of year published, subject of study, measurement tool, research method and other research variables. Results: According to the analysis result, the studies of covert narcissism initially appeared in 2002 and gradually increased in 2012. The results also highlighted that much of the studies were conducted mostly on university students. It was also revealed that in terms of the major measuring tools used in this area, it showed that ‘Covert Narcissism Scale’ which was developed and authenticated in 2002 became the most frequently used measuring tool. In regards to the research methods in this area, the findings revealed that most studies were designed with quantitative researches and the research of relationships between variables were mostly selected and studied amongst others. The analysis furthermore showed that ‘Covert Narcissism’ is related to various dependent variables and it is mainly being used as an independent variable. Conclusions: Based on these findings, this study suggested that diversification of study subject, methods and its variables.
