어린이집 부모와 교사의 미세먼지 관련 지식 정도 및 미세먼지 발생 시 유아실외활동에 대한 인식 조사

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 부모와 교사의 미세먼지 관련 지식 정도 및 미세먼지 발생 시 유아실외활동에 대한 인식을 파악하는 것이다. 연구방법은 설문조사로, 설문지는 선행연구에 나온 설문지를 연구자들이 일부 수정․보완한 후 내적타당도 검토를 거쳐 사용하였다. 조사 대상은 충청남북도에 소재한 어린이집 13개소를 편의 표집한 후 구글 설문지로 전환하여 그곳에 근무하는 어린이집 교사 262명, 자녀를 보내고 있는 부모 348명을 대상으로 하여 총 610명의 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 자료 분석은 i-Statistics 2.01로 하였고, 연구문제에 따라 평균과 표준편차, 빈도와 비율, 독립표본 t검증, 일원분산분석(ANOVA) 및 Scheffé 사후 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 미세먼지 관련 지식은 교사가 부모보다 많았다. 둘째, 미세먼지 발생 시 유아실외활동에 대한 인식은 실외활동 계획 및 준비, 대체활동 계획 및 운영 면에서 부모 점수가 교사보다 높았다. 이런 연구결과에 기초하여 크게 두 가지 점을 논의하였으며, 추후 연구 과제로 두 가지를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of knowledge about particulate matter(PM) and the perceptions of childcare center parents and teachers about young children s outdoor activities in PM pollution. The study method was questionnaire. The subjects of the study were a total of 610(348 parents and 262 teachers) of 13 childcare centers in Chungnambuk Do. Data analysis was conducted by using i-STATistics 2.01, using the mean and standard deviation, frequency and percentage, two independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance(ANOVA), Scheffé post verification. The results of this study were as follows. First, t-test was conducted to analyze the PM knowledge level of young children s parents and teachers. As the result, teachers had more knowledge about PM than parents, and knowledge difference between two groups was statistically significant. Second, t-test and ANOVA were conducted to analyze the perceptions of parents and teachers about young children s outdoor activities in PM pollution. As the result, parents had higher perception than teachers about the planning & preparation for outdoor activities, and the planning and operation of substitute activities for outdoor activity in PM pollution. The differences were statistically significant. Based on the results, two major points were discussed and two following studies were proposed.
