조선시대 간행 『中庸或問』 및 『中庸章句大全』 주요 板本分析

국문 초록

이 논문은 조선시대에 간행된 『中庸或問』과 『中庸章句大全』의 주요간본을 형태서지적 관점에서 분석한 것이다. 四書五經大全은 1416년 경조선에 유입되어 官學의 교재로 채택되고 과거시험의 자료로 활용되었기에 그 중요성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 지금까지의 四書五經大全에 대한 연구는 諺解, 栗谷學派의 小注 비판 등 조선 중~후기에 치중되어 있었으며, 조선전기의 실정에 대해선 상대적으로 부족하였다. 본 논문은 조선시대에 간행된 四書五經大全의 전수 조사를 위해 중용 관련 자료에 한정하여 논의를 진행하였다. 『中庸或問』 및 『中庸章句大全』 등 중용 주석서가 다른 자료에 비해 시대별로 골고루 남아 있어 비교, 분석에 적합하기 때문이다. 조선시대에 간행된 『中庸或問』 관련 주석서는 倪士毅의 『中庸輯釋』을 대본으로 하였으며, 이 책은 1371년 晉州牧에서 이미 『中庸朱子或問』으로 간행되었다. 15세기에 금속활자로 간행된 『重訂中庸輯釋通義大成』 또한 예사의가 편집한 텍스트에 명대 학자들의 주석이 덧붙여진 것이다. 『中庸章句大全』은 당초 3권 3책으로 간행되었으나, 조선에 유입된 이후 1책으로 재편성되었다. 조선 후기에 3권 3책으로 간행된 판본이 나오긴 했지만, 분책되지 않고 합책되었다. 『中庸或問』과 『中庸章句大全』은 16세기에 이르러 언해가 완성되고 내용 분석의 수준이 심화됨에 따라 小注의 일부가 삭제되기 시작했다. 이는 조선왕조실록, 柳希春의 『眉巖日記』 등의 기록을 통해서도 확인할 수 있는데, 시기별 간행 자료의 내용 비교는 추후의 과제로 남긴다.

영문 초록

This paper analyzes the major publications of Zhongyounghouwen(中庸或問) and Zhongyoungzhanggudacuan(中庸章句大全) published during the choseon Dynasty from a bibliographic perspective. Saseodaejeon(四書大全) entered Chosun in 1416, and adopted it as a textbook to teach students in the national education geek. Soon after, This book is very important because it was adopted in the past test. However, the research so far has focused on the analysis of Korean translations, small annotations of some schools in the late Joseon period. Thus, the research on the various editions published in the Joseon Dynasty was relatively inadequate. The purpose of this study is to establish a primary goal to investigate the medieval commentary published during the Choseon Dynasty. This is because the FourBook(四書) commentary on medial use is varied in a Zhongyoun(中庸). In the Choseon Dynasty, the most important source is Zhongyoungjishi(中庸輯釋) by Nishiyi(倪士毅). This book has another name, ZhongyounZhuzihuawen(中庸朱子或問). This book was already published in 1371 as a woodblock in the Jinjoo. ChongdingZhongyoungjishitongyidacheng(重訂中庸輯釋通義大成) was published in metal form in the fifteenth century, and this book adds the theory of Ming scholars to the doctrine of transcription. By the 16th century, this Zhongyounghouwen(中庸或問) and Zhongyoungzhanggudacuan(中庸章句大全) had begun to be deleted as the translation of the Korean version was completed and the understanding level of the book increased. This situation can be confirmed through data such as Chosun Dynasty Annals and Miam Diary(眉巖日記) by Yuheichoon. The comparative analysis of the contents of several books is left as a task of the latter.
