자아 강화를 하는 여아의 모래놀이치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미숙아로 출생하여 신생아가에 대수술을 경험하고, 이후 지속적으로 잦은 병치레로 오랫동안 입원을 하는 등 안정적으로 초기 애착을 형성할 기회를 놓쳤던 여아의 모래놀이치료 사례이다. 성장하면서 지속된 집단 따돌림 등 또래관계에 어려움을 호소하여 모래놀이치료를 실시하게 되었다. 총 20회기의 모래놀이치료가 진행되었고, 상담이 진행됨에 따라 내담아동의 일상생활에서 나타나는 정서 및 환경적 변화를 살펴보기 위해 모상담을 9회 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 사춘기 전 단계의 여아가 모래놀이치료 과정을 통해 자아를 강화하는데 있어서 긍정적인 영향을 주었다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 총 20회에 걸쳐 진행된 모래놀이치료 과정은 모성콤플렉스와의 직면 단계, 무의식으로의 퇴행 단계, 통합 및 수용 단계로 구분되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 모래놀이치료를 통해 아동에서 사춘기로 전환하는 여아가 자아 강화를 어떠한 과정으로 나타냈는지 살펴볼 수 있는 의미 있는 사례연구라 하겠다.

영문 초록

This study is a Sandplay therapy case of a child client who underwent a major surgery during her infancy after being born as a premature baby and was continuously hospitalized for a long time due to frequent bouts, thereby missing opportunities to stably form early attachment and growing while struggling solely for survival. Since the Clint appeal the difficulties in relationship with peer group because of continuously bullying, we applied the Sandplay therapy. The Sandplay had proceed for 20 sessions, counseling on her mother was conducted for nine sessions in order to examine how mental and environmental changes occurred in her ordinary life. According to the results of this study, the sandplay therapy process had positive influence on ego-strengthening of the child client before the stage of puberty. The sandplay therapy process conducted over a total of 20 sessions was divided into the stage of facing maternal complex, the stage of degeneration into unconscious, and the stage of integration and acceptance. Thus, this is meaningful case study that Sandplay can show establishing ego identity of a girl who is in transition from stage of childhood to the stage of puberty.
