교도관의 감수성훈련 집단상담 참여경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 질적연구 방법 중 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하여 감수성훈련 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 감수성훈련 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 교도관의 참여경험과 참여경험에 대한 구조를 알아보는데 있다. 이 연구를 위해 교도관 5명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층면담 하였고 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi(1978)가 제시한 7단계 절차를 토대로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 67의 주제와 15개의 주제묶음, 그리고 5개의 범주로 도출되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교도관의 감수성훈련 집단 상담에서의 경험은 ‘교도관의 감수성훈련 적응과정’, ‘교도관의 스트레스’, ‘개인내적 심리 변화’, ‘대인관계에서의 변화’, ‘교도관으로서의 태도와 역할 변화’로 파악 되었다. 둘째, 집단상담 참여경험의 구조와 관련하여, ‘교도관의 스트레스’는 ‘교도관의 감수성훈련 적응과정’에 영향을 미치고, ‘교도관의 감수성훈련 적응과정’은 ‘개인내적 심리변화’와 ‘대인관계의 변화’에 영향을 미친다. ‘개인내적 심리변화’와 ‘대인관계의 변화’는 ‘교도관으로서의 태도와 역할변화’에 영향을 미친다. 또한 이들은 서로 분리되어 있는 것이 아니라 서로 상호작용하는 것으로 파악되었다. 그리고 각 범주에 포함되어 있던 주제묶음들이 서로 상호작용적으로 연결되어 영향을 미치고 있다. 이상에서 본 연구는 감수성훈련 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 교도관의 참여경험과 참여경험에 대한 구조를 알아봄으로써, 그들의 교정목표를 달성하는데 필요한 상담 프로그램을 개발하는데 도움을 주고, 교도관들의 정서안정을 도모하는 다양한 사업을 위한 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the structure of experience and participation experience of jailer participating in sensitivity training group counseling program by using phenomenological research method among qualitative research methods. For this study, five jailer were selected as research participants for in-depth interview and the collected data were analyzed based on the seven step procedure presented by Colaizzi (1978). The results of the analysis, 87 themes, 16 theme clusters and 6 categories were derived. The results of the study are as follows. First, The contents of experience of sensitivity training group counseling of jailer are as follows: ‘life as a jailer’, ‘adaptation process of ‘sensitivity training of jailer’, ‘change of perspective’, ‘change of mind and body’, ‘change of attitude and role as a jailer’, ‘improvement of quality of life’. Second, the structure of participation experience of sensitivity group counseling of jailers was revealed that ‘life as a jailer’ affects ‘the process of adapting the sensitivity training of the jailer’, ‘the process of adapting the sensitivity training of the jailer’ and ‘change of mind and body’. ‘Change of perspective and change of mind and body’ have an effect on ‘attitude and role change as a jailer’ and ‘improvement of quality of life’. Also, ‘change of perspective’ and ‘change of mind and body’ interacted with each other, and ‘improvement of quality of life’ and ‘attitude and role change as a jailer’ were found to interact with each other. And the theme clusters included in each category are interactively connected and influencing each other. This study is expected that it will be helpful for developing counseling program to achieve their goal of correction and will be basic data for development of counseling program for emotional stability by finding out the structure of participant experience and participation experience of jailers who participated in sensitivity training group counseling program.
