인성교육 전문가 양성과정의 교육내용 주제와 구조 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인성교육 전문가 양성과정의 교육내용 주제와 구조를 분석하여 향후 인성교육 전문성 신장에 도움이 되는 교육과정을 편성․운영할 수 있도록 시사점을 제공하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 주제 분석을 위한 3개 기준(‘인성교육의 이해’, ‘인성교육의 핵심역량 함양’, ‘인성교육 실천’)과 구조 분석을 위한 4개 기준(‘기초’, ‘적용’, ‘연계’, ‘혼합’)을 설정하였고, 이를 바탕으로 2016년 시범운영된 다섯 개 기관의 양성과정 교육내용을 분석하였다. 주제 분석 결과, 인성교육 이해 의 편성 비율이 가장 낮았고 인성교육 핵심역량 함양 과 인성교육 실천 은 비슷하였다. 그 특징으로 인성교육의 이해 는 기초적 지식을 다루고 있으며, 인성교육 핵심역량 은 교사의 인성역량 함양과 인성교육 교수역량 함양을 위한 과목들로 구성됨을 알 수 있었다. 인성교육 실천 은 교과 및 비교과 교육과정에서의 인성교육과 가정 및 지역사회와 연계한 인성교육을 실시할 수 있는 내용 및 방법을 다루고 있었다. 또한 구조 분석 결과, 연계 의 편성 비율이 가장 높았고, 그 다음은 적용, 기초, 혼합 순으로 나타났다. 각 기준별 특징으로 ‘이해’는 기본 이해를 위한 성격을 지녔으며, ‘적용’은 실제 학교 현장에 활용해 볼 수 있도록 수업 활동과 수업 외적 활동에 관련되는 내용으로 구성되었다. ‘연계’는 직접 연계와 간접 연계의 두 가지 방식으로 인성교육과 관련 개념 또는 소양을 접목시켜 다루었고, 혼합에서는 적용과 연계가 혼합된 유형만 나타났다. 이에 따라 1) 균형적인 주제 구성, 향후 다양화 필요, 2) 인성교육 비전 공유로서의 긍정적 역할, 향후 현장성 유지 필요, 3) 구조의 계열성 확인 및 발전적 형태에 대한 시사, 4) 양성 목적에 따른 다양한 현장 경험 위주의 구성 미흡, 5) 양성기관의 독자성이 반영된 연계 강좌의 가능성 제시에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents for teacher training as a character education professionals and provide suggestions for organizing and operating them to enhance the professionalism in character education. To this end, we established three criteria for the analysis of the topic( Understanding of Character Education , Cultivation of the Key Competences for Character Education , and Practice of Character Education ) and four criteria for the analysis of the structure( Basics , Applications , Connections , and Mixing ). Based on this, we analyzed the contents of the five pilot training institutions in 2016. According to the analysis of the topic, the ratio of Understanding of Character Education was the lowest and the other two criteria were similar. It was found that Understanding of Character Education dealt with basic knowledge and that Cultivation of the Key Competences for Character Education consisted of courses for cultivating of teachers character competences and teaching competences for character education. ‘Practice of Character Education dealt with the contents and methods of character education in the curriculum and extracurriculum and character education in connection with homes and communities. Structural analysis results showed that the ratio of Connections was the highest, followed by Applications , Basics , and Mixing . Also, Understanding was primarily intended for understanding, and Applications consisted of contents related to instruction and non-class activities for practical use on school. Connections dealt with in two ways, direct and indirect, connecting character education with related concepts or literacy and only a mix of Applications and Connections appeared in Mixing . Based on this, the following five suggestions were discussed: 1) Balanced organization in topic and the need for diversification of topic, 2) Positive roles for sharing the vision of character education and the need for maintaining the connection with the field, 3) Identification of sequence and the implications on the developmental types in structure, 4) Insufficient organization of various field experiences for the purpose of training, 5) Suggestions on possibility of Connections courses that reflect the identity of the training institution.
