지역사회자원을 활용한 유치원 가족 프로그램에 참여한 부모의 경험

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역사회 자원을 활용한 유치원 가족 프로그램 활동을 구성하여 적용하는 과정에서 부모들이 어떠한 경험을 하는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 연구자가 원장으로 근무하는 유치원의 만 5세 유아 26명과 그 가족들을 대상으로 2017년 7월 21일부터 2017년 11월 7일까지 부모와 협의한 일정에 따라 가족 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 절차는 지역사회 자원을 활용한 가족 프로그램의 구성과 프로그램 전개의 두 단계로 이루어졌고 총 9회기의 프로그램 전개는 다시 사전단계(지역기관 탐색하기, 관련도서 찾아보기, 주제와 관련된 궁금증 알아오기)와 본 활동 단계(도입, 전개, 마무리)로 이루어졌다. 이상과 같은 절차를 통해 연구자의 참여관찰, 참여교사저널, 연구자 메모, 부모질문지 및 면담 등의 다면적 자료를 수집하였으며 자료 분석은 기술, 분류, 관련짓기의 순환적 과정을 거쳤다. 연구 결과, 지역사회자원을 활용한 유치원 가족프로그램에 참여한 부모들은 첫째, 지역사회자원에 대한 새로운 시각을 갖게 되었고, 둘째, 유치원 가족 프로그램에 대한 신뢰와 믿음이 향상되었으며, 셋째, 단위 가족에 국한된 것이 아닌 다른 가족들과의 유대와 연합을 통해 현대의 개인주의, 인간소외를 극복하는 협력과 화합의 장을 경험하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 지역사회자원을 활용한 유치원 가족 프로그램이 지역사회 공간에 대한 인식 변화를 비롯하여 유치원 구성원 전체에게 미치는 긍정적 영향력을 경험적으로 고찰하여 유치원 가족 프로그램의 가능성을 확장하였다는 데 의의를 둔다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of experiences parents have in the process of constructing and applying kindergarten family program activities using community resources. The subjects of this study were 26 youngchild and their families in the kindergarten who are working as presidents. The research process was conducted from 21 July 2017 to 7 November 2017 in consultation with parents. In the preliminary stage, it is the stage of related activities such as finding the curiosity related to the browse of related books and searching for local institutions. In this activity phase, each family participated in the program as introduction, development and finishing process. In this study, we collected data such as participant observation, participant teacher journal, researcher s memo, parental questionnaire and interview by triangulation method to improve the validity and reliability of qualitative research. The results obtained from this study are as follows. First, it is a new perspective on community resources. It has been recognized that many resources of the community become the space of the children s lesson, and the educational activities using various communities lead to curiosity and interest of the children and various learning through play. Second, the parents experience of having improved confidence in kindergarten family programs. Through regularly and well-planned family programs, we learned about the importance of raising the overall awareness of kindergarten and early childhood education and strengthening trust and confidence in each other through close consultation between kindergarten and family. Third, as the family participates in the program using community resources, it is not confined to the unit family, but through ties and alliances with other families, it overcomes individualism, And experienced a field of cooperation and unity.
