영아반 교사의 직무스트레스와 교사-영아 간 상호작용 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스와 교사효능감 및 교사-영아 간 상호작용의 관계를 살펴보고, 교사의 직무스트레스와 교사-영아 간 상호작용의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 실시하였다. 이를 위해 인천지역 보육기관에 취원 중인 만 0∼2세반 담임교사 241명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스는 교사효능감 및 교사-영아 간 상호작용과 부적 상관을 보였으며, 교사효능감과 교사-영아 상호작용 간에는 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스와 교사-영아 간 상호작용과의 관계에서 교사효능감은 부분 매개효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 영아반 교사의 직무스트레스가 교사-영아 간 상호작용에 미치는 직접적 영향을 확인하였으며, 직무스트레스와 교사-영아 간 상호작용의 관계에서 교사효능감의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 교사효능감의 중재 역할로서의 중요성을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines the relationships among infant teacher s job stress, teacher s efficacy, and teacher-infant interaction as well as investigates the mediating effect of teacher s efficacy between teacher s job stress and teacher-infant interaction. Participants were composed of 241 teachers of under 2-year-old children attending daycare centers in Incheon city. The results are as follows. First, there is a negative correlation between teacher s job stress and teacher s efficacy as well as teacher-infant interaction: however, there is positive correlation between teacher s efficacy and teacher-infant interaction. Second, teacher s efficacy had a partial mediating effect in between the relations of teacher s job stress and teacher-infant interaction. The results indicate that the effort to increase teacher s efficacy may increase the positive effect toward teacher-infant interaction caused by teacher s job stress. Furthermore, the effort to decrease teacher s job stress may decrease the negative effect toward teacher s efficacy and teacher-infant interaction.
