유아의 또래 유능성과 마음이론 및 개인화된 정서추론 능력에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 또래 유능성과 마음이론, 정서추론 능력의 연령에 따른 발달 정도를 알 아보아 학문적 기초자료를 제공하는 것과 또래 유능성과 마음이론 및 정서추론 능력 간의 관계를 밝 혀 교육현장에 시사점을 주는 것이다. 연구대상은 J시 C유치원에 재원하고 있는 만5세 26명 1학급, 만4세 21명 1학급의 총 47명이었으며 마음이론은 내용교체와 위치이동 과제로 측정하였다. 정서추론 능력의 검사과제는 이진숙과 원계선(2008)의 연구에 사용된 개인화된 정서 이해 및 개인화된 정서추 론 능력 과제를 사용하였으며, 또래 유능성은 송정(1999)이 번안 수정한 Ladd & Profilet(1996)의 유아 행동척도(Child Behavior Scale: CBS)를 사용하였다. 또래 유능성 검사는 교사용 설문지로 검사하였다. 그 결과 유아의 연령에 따른 차이에서는 마음이론 하위 요인 중 위치이동과제에서 차이가 나타났으 며, 정서추론 능력에서는 개인화된 정서추론 능력이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 위치이동 과제의 수행능력 이 높을수록 배척성과 과민성이 낮았다. 본 연구의 결과, 유아 교육현장에서 유아의 또래 유능성 향 상을 위해 유아가 타인의 입장을 고려하는 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 교육활동이 필요함을 시 사한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to find basic data about mind theory, personalized emotional inference ability and peer competence of young children and to suggest an idea to the education field for young children. The subjects were 26 children of age 5 and 21 children of age 4 who enrolled in a Kindergarten in city J. Mind theory of children was examined by two tasks; movement of the location of the object and altering the contents. The researchers used the tasks which were developed in pre research of Lee & Won(2008) for measuring the children's emotional inference ability. The peer competence was measured by the CBS(Child Behavior Scale) which was developed by Ladd & Profilet(1996) and advised and translated by Song(1999). The results of this study indicated that there were significant differences between age 4 and 5 on the task of changing location and the personalized emotional inference ability. There are correlations only between theory of mind and peer competence. The achievement of a task on changing location has negative correlation with exclusion and hyper-distractibility. The results of this study indicated that the various educational activities were needed for children to improve their abilities to understand the minds of others.
