대학생의 우울과 발테그 그림검사(WZT)의 반응특성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발테그 그림검사(Wartegg-Zeichentest)의 8개의 자극 그림과 우울과의 관계를 파악하는 것 이다. 연구대상은 D시와 P시, G시의 대학교 1, 2, 3학년 학생 260명(남학생 105명, 여학생 155명)이다. 연구도구 는 WZT와 우울검사(BDI)이며, 먼저 WZT에서 자극그림을 완성한 후 그림에 제목을 붙이도록 한 다음 우울검 사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 성별에 따른 대학생의 우울과 우울에 따른 WZT의 8개 자극그림에 대한 반응특 성을 알아보기 위해 독립표본 t-검증과 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 남학생은 여학생보다 우울하지 않은 경우가 많았고, 여학생은 남학생보다 가벼운 우울, 우울, 심한 우울이 많았다. 둘째, 우울에 따른 WZT 자 극그림의 반응 특성은 자극그림 1, 4, 5에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 즉 형태, 위치에서 우울집단이 비우울집 단에 비해 집중형, 사선방향, 중앙 위치, 전체가 많았다. 본 연구는 WZT가 우울성향에 대한 1차적 평가를 할 수 있는 도구로서의 활용 가능성을 제시한 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to determine the relationship between eight stimulus pictures from Wartegg-Zeichentest and depression. Subjects for the study were 260 university freshmen and sophomores (male=105, female=155) located in cities of D, P and G. The research tools were WZT and Beck’s Depression Inventory (BDI) and after stimulus pictures in WZT were complete and titles to the pictures were placed, the depression test was conducted. As for the analysis of data, the independent sample t-test and cross-analysis were conducted to look into the depression of university students by gender and characteristics of responses to eight WZT stimulus pictures to depression. The result of the research shows that first, male students were less depressed than female students and female students were more likely to have mild depression, depression, or severe depression than male students. Second, in terms of characteristics of responses to WZT stimulus pictures to depression, there were significant differences in stimulus pictures 1, 4 and 5. That is, in terms of shape and location, compared to the non-depressed group, the depressed group has more of focused-type, diagonal direction, central location and the whole. This study is significant in that it suggests the possibility of WZT to be utilized as a tool for the primary assessment of depression tendency.
