미술치료가 중년남성의 결혼만족도와 상태불안에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 중년남성의 결혼만족도와 상태불안에 어떠한 효과를 미치는 지를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 결혼생활에 대한 불만과 불안을 호소하는 48세 중년남성이다. 연구기간은 2012년 2월 17일부 터 2012년 12월 20일까지 주 1-2회 또는 월 1회로 총 30회기를 실시하였다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미 술치료가 중년남성의 결혼만족도에 미치는 효과는 어떠한가? 둘째, 미술치료가 중년남성의 상태불안 감소에 미 치는 효과는 어떠한가? 측정도구는 결혼만족도 척도(Marital satisfaction Scale: MSS)와 상태불안 척도(State Trait Anxiety Inventory: STAI)이다. 자료분석은 중년남성의 결혼만족도와 상태불안에 대하여 사전, 사후 및 추 후점수 간의 차이비교와 백분율로 그 변화를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료가 중년남성 의 결혼만족도에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 미술치료가 중년남성의 상태불안 감소에 긍정 적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 중년남성에 대한 미술치료의 개입이 개인적 심리뿐만 아니 라 결혼생활 전반에 있어서 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effects of art therapy on the marital satisfaction and state trait anxiety of a middle-aged man. The participant was 48 years old. He was not satisfied with his married life and had an anxiety problem. The art therapy ran for 30 sessions and lasted from February 17, 2012 to December 20, 2012, once or twice a week or once a month. The research questions are as follows. First, what are the effects of art therapy on the marital satisfaction of the participant? Second, what are the effects of art therapy on reducing the state trait anxiety of the participant? The study instruments included the Martial Satisfaction Scale(MSS) and State Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI). The data were analyzed comparing the descriptive statistics from the scores on a pretest, post-test, and follow-up evaluation, all of which measured the marital satisfaction and state trait anxiety. The findings are as follows. First, art therapy had a positive effect on the marital satisfaction of the participant. Second, art therapy had a positive effect on reducing the state trait anxiety of the participant. These findings suggest that the art therapy intervention had positive effects on the psychology of and further overall married life of the participant.
