시설아동의 자아존중감 향상을 위한 신체상중심 집단미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 부모의 이혼과 폭력 등으로 시설에 입소한 아동들의 자아존중감 향상을 목적으로 신체상중심 집 단미술치료를 실시하고 참여자들의 변화과정을 분석함으로써 프로그램의 효과를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연 구를 위하여 G보육시설에 입소되어 있는 초등학생 6명을 대상으로 2012년 9월 2일부터 12월 9일까지 주 1회 90-100분씩 15회기를 실시하였다. 측정도구로는 자아존중감 척도와 인물화 검사, 언어적․비언어적 행동관찰에 서의 단계별 변화, 미술치료 단계별 작품 변화과정을 분석 비교하였다. 연구 결과 자아존중감 척도의 사전, 사 후 검사에서 유의미한 변화가 나타났다. 인물화의 사전검사에서는 높은 불안과 의존성, 억압 등이 전반적으로 나타났으나, 사후검사에서는 불안감과 억압이 낮아지고 의존성 등이 많이 완화되었다. 또한 언어적․비언어적인 행동관찰에서도 공통적으로 자신감이 부족하고 부정적인 표현들이 많았지만 회기가 진행될수록 수용적이고 긍 정적이며, 자신감 있게 표현하는 변화가 있었다. 그리고 집단미술치료 프로그램의 단계별 작품 변화과정을 고 찰해 볼 때 초기에는 신체에 대한 부정적이고 공격적인 부분들이 많이 나타났으나, 점차 신체에 대한 고마움과 미래에 대한 희망의 표현이 증가하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the Group Art Therapy for Self-Esteem Improvement by analyzing the changing process of participants who were institutionalized children due to divorce and violence of their parents. The objects were 6 school children in G nursery facilities, and the program accomplished 15 times(once a week, 90-100 minutes) from September 2nd to December 9th. The measuring instrument was The Self-Esteem Scale, Draw-A-Person Test, phased observation method of verbal and non-verbal behavior and analyzing changing process of the art works. As a result, the score of the Self-esteem Scale showed significant change in before-after test. In the preliminary examination of Draw-a-man Test, confusion of gender identity and passive aggressive attitude were appeared by and large, but in the post test, there were recovery of confusion of the gender identity and increases of active interaction. Also, after we looked at the verbal and non-verbal behavior their timid and negative expression changed more clearly and positively as the session progressed. Finally, as we analyzed the changing process of the art works, at first there were a lot of negative and aggresive parts about their bodies, but gradually expression of hope for the future and appreciation about their bodies are increased.
