협동 활동 중심 집단미술치료가 지적장애 성인의 사회적 기술에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 협동 활동 중심 집단미술치료가 지적장애 성인의 사회적 기술에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 목적 이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 U광역시에 위치한 작업활동시설의 지적장애 성인으로 선정기준에 의해 편의 추출 된 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명, 총 20명으로 구성하였다. 본 연구의 실험처치는 실험집단을 대상으로 협동 활동 중심 집단미술치료 프로그램을 2009년 1월부터 3월까지 주 2회, 60분씩 총 22회기에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 연 구도구는 Gresham & Elliott(1991)가 개발하고 김향지(1996)가 협력, 자기주장, 자아통제 3개의 주요 영역으로 재구성한 사회적 기술 척도(SSRS: Social Skills Rating System)를 사용하였다. 미술치료 프로그램의 처치효과를 알아보기 위해 각 집단별 사전ㆍ사후 검사점수의 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고 변량분석(ANOVA)을 실시한 결 과, 협동 활동 중심 집단미술치료가 지적장애 성인의 사회적 기술을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 협동 활동 중심의 집단미술치료가 지적장애 성인의 사회적 기술에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 특히, 협력, 자기주장, 자 아통제에서 유의미한 증가를 보였다. 이는 협동 활동 중심 집단미술치료가 지적장애 성인의 사회적 기술에 효 과적인 중재방안이라는 것을 의미한다.

영문 초록

This research discusses how cooperative activity-centered group art therapy influences social skills in adults with intellectual disability. The subjects of this research are total 20 adults with intellectual disability of a work activity center located in U Metropolis, who were selected by the criteria of selection. comprising an experimental group of 10 and a restricted group of 10. Cooperative activity-centered group art therapy programs were carried out with the subject groups twice a week for 60 minutes each time from January to March 2009, 22 times in total. The means used in this experiment, which was developed by Gresham & Elliott(1991) with the cooperation of Kim Hyang-ji(1996), is Social Skills Rating System(SSRS) restructured to have self-assertion and 3 self-control sections. The average and standard deviation of the test marks for each group were calculated and then Analysis of variance(ANOVA) was applied. The results of this research are that the cooperative activity-centered group art therapy improves social skills of adults with intellectual disability. Therefore, cooperative activity-centered group art therapy has a positive influence on general social skills of adults with intellectual disability, especially a significant improvement in cooperation, self-assertion and self-control. This means that cooperative activity-centered group art therapy is an effective intervention for improving social skills of adults with intellectual disability.
