학교부적응 청소년의 애착 및 대인관계 향상을 위한 모-자(母-子) 미술치료를 병행한 미술치료 단일 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 W시 남녀공학 중학교 상담실에서 학교부적응 청소년 1인과 어머니 1인을 대상으로 모-자 미술치료를 실시하고 그 결과를 분석함으로써 모-자 미술치료가 학교부적응 청소년의 애착 및 대인관계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 목적이 있으며, 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모-자 미술치료 프로그램은 학교부적응 학생의 모-자간 애착의 질을 높일 것인가? 둘째, 모-자 미술치료 프로그램은 학교부적응 학생의 대인관계를 증진시킬 것인가? 연구 문제를 검증하기 위해 2009년 9월부터 12월까지 매회기 40분간 매주 2〜3회씩, 총 31회에 걸쳐 미술치료 프로그램을 진행하였다. 또한 어머니와의 활동을 통해 보다 효과적인 개입을 하기 위하여 격주로 토요일에 60분씩 모-자 프로그램을 진행하고, 30분간 이야기 나누는 시간을 가졌다. 미술치료 프로그램의 효과를 측정하기 위하여 애착척도와 부모 및 친구와의 대인관계척도 및 HTP 그림검사를 사용하였으며, 이와 함께 담임선생님과 어머니의 면담을 통하여 학교 및 가정에서의 행동변화 양상을 기록하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합해 보면, 모-자 미술치료 프로그램을 통해 학교부적응 학생의 모-자간 애착의 질을 높였으 며, 대인관계도 증진시킬 수 있었다. 그러므로 모-자 미술치료를 병행한 미술치료가 학교부적응 청소년과 관련된 애착 및 대인관계 문제에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the effects of the Mother and Child Art Therapy on the improvement of attachment and interpersonal relationships of the students with school maladjustment, analysing a case of the Mother and Child Art Therapy for a mother and a juvenile student with school adjustment problems, which was conducted in a counselling room of a coeducational middle school located in W city. In detail, this study investigates two research questions. First, does the Mother and Child Art Therapy program improve the quality of the attachment between a mother and child with school adjustment problems? Second, does the Mother and Child Art Therapy improve interpersonal relationships of the student with school maladjustment? To examine these questions, this study conducted in total thirty-one art therapy sessions, two or three weekly sessions lasting 40 minutes in each time, from September 2009 to December 2009. Attempting more effective intervention through activities with the mother, the present study also biweekly carried out a 60-minute mother and child program, coupled with a 30-minute conversation session. The effects of the art therapy program was evaluated by the attachment score, scales for interpersonal relationships with parents and friends, and the HTP image test. This study also recorded and analysed behavior changes at school and home through interviews with the homeroom teacher and mother. Overall, the results of the present study showed that the Mother and Child Art Therapy improved attachment quality between mother and child and enhanced interpersonal relationship of the student with school maladjustment. Therefore, I argue that the art therapy combined with the Mother and Child activity can be applied to attachment and interpersonal relationship problems of the students with school maladjustment.
