입체조형 활동을 중심으로 한 집단미술치료가 한부모 가정 아동의 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 한부모 가정 아동의 자기효능감 향상을 위해 입체조형 활동을 중심으로 한 집단미술치료를 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 경상북도 H시에 소재한 지역아동센터를 이용하는 4-6학년 한부모 가정의 아동으로, 자기효능감 척도 결과 점수가 60점 이하인 아동 16명을 선별하여 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 8명씩 배정하였다. 실험집단에는 2010년 7월 5일 부터 9월 23일 까지 70분-80분씩 주 2회 20회기의 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구도구는 개인의 일반적 자기효능감 척도(한혜진, 2002)와 행동관찰을 실시하여 사전·사후·추후검사의 변화를 비교하여 효과성을 살펴보았다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN Program(version 12.0)을 이용하여 반복측정 변량분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 입체조형 활동을 중심으로 한 집단미술치료가 한부모 가정 아동의 자기효능감 전체와 하위영역 전체에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 프로그램의 효과가 지속되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 행동관찰을 통하여 자기효능감의 변화를 살펴본 결과, 단계가 진행되어 감에 따라 자기효능감이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 친밀감형성 단계에 비해 종결 단계에서는 항상 웃는 모습을 보이며 자신감이 넘치고 적극적으로 발표를 하고 자신의 작품을 아주 자랑스러워하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined effects of group art therapy utilizing three-dimensional art activities on improving the self-efficacy of single parent children. Among 4th to 6th grade single parent children attending a local community center in city H, Gyongsangbuk-do, 16 students whose self-efficacy scores were below 60 were selected to be the participants of this study. They were assigned randomly to the experimental group of 8 and control group of 8. The experimental group received a total of 20 sessions, each session 70 to 80 minutes, twice a week from July 5, 2010 to September 23rd, 2010. The instrument for this study was Han\'s (2002) self-efficacy scale modified to measure the self-efficacy of elementary school children from an original self-efficacy scale measuring general self-efficacy. The pre, post, and follow-up test of self-efficacy were administered to both the experimental and control group. The data were computed for a repeated measures analysis of variance on SPSS WIN program (version 12.0). The findings of this study are as follows. First, group art therapy utilizing three dimensional art activities was effective on improving the self-efficacy of single parent children, the effect of which was also found in the follow-up test. In addition, self-efficacy sub-categories such as Self-confidence, Self-control efficacy, Assignment difficulty revealed positive effects of the therapy, the effect of which was also found in the follow-up test. Second, an observation of the participants\' behavior to detect any change in self-efficacy revealed self-efficacy improvement as the phases of the therapy progressed. Upon the ending phase compared with the beginning phase, the participants became confident, gave presentations actively, and were very proud of their works.
