학대받은 노인의 역량강화를 위한 집단미술치료 프로그램 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료 프로그램이 학대받는 노인의 역량강화에 미치는 효과를 파악하는데 있다. 이에 본 연구는 학대받는 노인의 역량강화를 위한 집단미술치료를 실행하여 그 효과를 분석한 후 이들 대상에 대한 미술치료 접근의 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 D시 노인보호전문기관에 신고접수된 노인 8명으로 연령은 66세에서 82세까지이며, 집단미술치료는 2008년 6월 23일부터 7월 25일까지 주2회, 회기별 90분씩, 총 10회기를 실시하였다. 측정도구는 역량에 관한 검사로 자발성, 신체적 반응, 정서적 반응과 의사표현력을 포함하고 있다. 미술치료 과정중의 경험을 중시하면서 미술치료 결과를 포함하여 개발된 Mohaupt-Luksch(2004)의 평가도구(정여주 역, 2006)를 본 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 활용하였으며, 프로그램 실시 전후의 변화를 비교하기 위하여 SPSS 12.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과로는 첫째, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 학대 받는 노인 역량강화에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사전 사후 t-test한 결과에 의하면, 역량이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 집단미술치료 프로그램이 학대받은 노인의 역량 하위영역에서 어떤 변화가 나타났는가를 살펴본 결과, 하위영역에서도 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 즉, 집단미술치료 프로그램을 통하여 학대받는 노인들의 자발성, 신체적 반응, 정서적 반응, 그리고 의사표현력의 정도가 향상되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study were to examine the effects of group art therapy program for strengthening empowerment of abused the aged. This study tried to see a possibility of application of art therapy to those people analyzing a result from performing group art therapy program. The subjects of this study were eight old people referred to elder protection agency in D city and a range of their age is from 66-year-old to 82-year-old. The group art therapy was performed total 10 times every 90 minutes and twice in a week from 23th June in 2008 to 25th July in 2008. An instrument of measurement is a test for the empowerment including spontaneity, physical response, emotional response, and ability of self-expression. The instrument of measurement which is designed for focusing on experience is modified for purpose of this study and used. To compare a change before and after performing this program, SPSS 12.0 program was utilized. The main results of this study were as follows. First, the results showed that group art therapy is effective for strengthening empowerment of abused the aged. According to t- test(pre, post), there has been a significant difference exhibited by the degree of empowerment. Second, there has been a significant difference exhibited by the sub-factors of empowerment. That is, the degree of spontaneity, physical response, emotional response, and self-expression of abused the aged has been improved by the group art therapy program.
