시지각 향상 집단미술치료가 비언어적 학습장애 아동의 국어과 학습기능에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 비언어적 학습장애 아동에게 시지각 향상 집단미술치료를 실시하여 국어과 학습기능에 미치는 효과를 검정하는데 있다.연구대상은 비언어적 학습장애로 진단된 초등 1학년 4명의 아동이다.시지각 향상 집단미술치료 프로그램은 1회 60분씩 주2회,총 20회기 동안 매 회기 2단계로 진행되었다.1단계는 심상 그리기 단계로 주제 어휘에 대한 심상을 떠올리고,그것을 자유롭게 그리거나 만들어서 표현한 후 시각화된 심상이미지를 언어화시켜 표현함으로 말하기 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 구성하였다.2단계는 과정중심 글쓰기 단계로 심상으로 표현한 자신의 작품에 대해 언어로 표현한 것을 글로 쓰도록 하여 쓰기 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 구성하였다.연구도구는 비언어적 학습장애 아동의 국어과 학습기능을 평가하기 위해 실시한 기초학습 기능검사 (KEDI-IBLAST),구문의미 이해력검사(KOSECT)이다.본 연구결과와 논의를 바탕으로 시지각 향상 집단미술치료는 비언어적 학습장애 아동의 국어과 학습기능 향상에 효과가 있다는 결론을 얻었다.본 연구는 학습장애 하위유형 중 아직 사회적인 인지도가 낮은 비언어적 학습장애 아동을 대상으로 실시한 실증적 중재연구로써 연구대상 아동들의 특성을 고려하여 시지각 향상 집단미술치료를 구성하고 실시하였다는 점에 특히 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study purports to see if group are therapy is effective in enhancing learning ability of the children with nonverbal learning disability with respect to the Korean language. Study subjects are four elementary students who are diagnosed as the children with nonverbal learning disability. The art therapy program consisted of a total of 20 sessions, twice a week and each session lasting 60 minutes in two stages. In the first stage, the subjects were asked to have free images on the given vocabulary, draw or sculpture the images, then verbalize the art work, so as to improve the speech skills. In the second stage, the subjects are requested to write what they verbalized previously in order to advance their writing techniques. Study tools were KEDI-IBLAST and KOSECT to diagnose the children with nonverbal learning disability in their learning capacity for Korean and for phrasal meaning.The results shows that the group art therapy program with attention to visual perceptions has a positive effecton improving the subjects' learning ability in Korean. This study deserves a special significance in the sense that the study designed and practiced a group art therapy program to improve visual perceptions, aiming at enhancing the Korean-learning ability ofthe children with nonverbal learning disability who have been relatively less focused by thes ociety.
