뇌병변장애아동의 인지능력과 운동능력 및 자조기술 향상을 위한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 뇌병변장애아동의 인지능력과 운동능력 및 자조기술에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다.대상 아동은 뇌성마비 1급 장애인 초등학교 2학년 남자 아동(만 8세)으로,출생 시 오른쪽 청력을 잃었고 왼쪽 시력도 약한 상태이다.혼자서 서거나 걷지 못하였으며 유모차나 워커를 이용하여 이동하였다.프로그램은 연구자의 미술치료실에서,2007년 11월~2008년 12월까지 주 2회,60분씩 총 112회기를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다.첫째,미술치료가 뇌병변 아동의 인지능력과 운동능력 및 자조기술에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.인지적으로 접근하였던 가게놀이나 동화필사로 인하여 셈하기,읽기,쓰기,협응이 향상되었다.그림을 그리거나 여러 가지 매체를 사용하는 조형활동으로 양손 협응과 눈-손 협응이 호전되었다.협응이 호전됨에 따라 근육의 경련이 감소되었고 양치질,세수하기,섭식,용변(소변),목욕,양말 신기,옷 입기 등의 자조기술이 가능해졌다.둘째,미술치료가 뇌병변 아동의 전반적 발달에 변화를 주어 학업성취도가 높아지고 자율성과 사회성이 고양되었다.자조기술이 다양화되면서 주변 환경에 대한 아동의 호기심과 욕구가 증가되었고 신체의 경험과 더불어 자존감과 타인에 대한 의식과 수치심이 생겨났다.

영문 초록

This study is how Art therapy to develop cognitive ability, motor ability and self-help skill s affects a child with brain lesion. The subject was an elementary school male child, first graded cerebral palsy(2nd grade,8years).On birth, he had lost his right audition and had weak left audition.Hecouldn\'t stand up and walk alone,and so he used strollers or walkers to move.This program consists of 112 sessions from Nov.2007 to Dec.2008, and each session was 60minutes twice a week.The results of this study areas follows. Fisrt, Art therapy has affirmatively influenced on cognitive ability, motor ability and self-helpskills for this cerebralpalsiedchild. Byplaying-store and copying-fairy tales approached cognitively he improved calculation, reading, writing and cooperation. Numberous drawings and shapings with various materials could progress both hand sand eye-hand cooperation.Turning for the better cooperations,musclecramps havelessened and self-help skill shave improved such as teethbrushing, facewashing, feeding, toilet training(urine),bathing,wearing socks and wearing clothes. Second, Art therapy took general development with a cerebralpalsied child. And thenit inspiredhigherachievementofhisstudiesaswellasskillsof self-controlling and socialization. Having many-sidedself-help skills,he was increased curiosities and desires forsurrounds and obtained self-esteem and a sense of shametoothers.
