이혼ㆍ자살 경험 노인의 우울 감소를 위한 현실요법적 미술치료 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 현실요법을 적용한 미술치료가 노인의 우울에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 70세 남자 노인으로 두 번의 이혼과 한번 자살 경험이 있고, 정신과 전문의로부터 우울증 진단을 받은 노인이다. 프로그램 실시기간은 2007년 2월 14일부터 6월 30일까지 추후 검사까지 총16회기 실시하였다. 우울 변화를 알아보기 위해 자기평가 우울 척도(SDS), 사전ㆍ사후ㆍ추후검사로 분석하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 자기평가 우울 척도(SDS)에서 사후검사가 사전검사에 비해 34점이나 감소되었다. 1개월 후 실시한 추후검사에서도 사후검사에 비해 5점이나 감소되어 우울증상이 현저하게 감소되었다. 따라서 현실요법을 적용한 미술치료가 이혼․자살 경험 노인의 우울 감소에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to investigate the effect of reality therapy-applying art therapy on the depression of the aged. Subjects were 70 years old males who have experienced two times divorce and a suicidal attempt and were diagnosed as depression by psychiatric specialists. During the period of application from February 14, to June 30, 2007, the program was performed total 16 times including post test. To find out the progress of depression, analysis was carried out by Self-evaluated Depression Scale(SDS) and preliminary, post and later test. Followings are the results ; In Self-evaluated Depression Scale(SDS), post test showed decrease of 34 points compared to preliminary test. It decreased also by 5 points compared to post test in later test carried out a month later, demonstrating marked decrease of depression. Therefore it was proved that the reality therapy-applying art therapy had a positive effect on the decrease of depression of the aged who have experienced divorce and suicidal attempt.
