시설아동의 위축 및 불안 감소를 위한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 위축행동 및 불안이 있는 시설아동에게 미술치료를 적용하여 효과가 있는가를 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 위축행동 및 불안이 있는 시설아동 1명으로, 미술치료 프로그램은 주 1～2회 60분으로 총 12회기 실시하였고, 문제행동 척도 K-CBCL과 투사그림검사 K-HTP를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 문제행동 척도 K-CBCL에서는 위축행동이 사전 검사 10점에서 사후검사 2점으로 위축행동이 감소되었음을 보여 주었다. 둘째, 문제행동 척도 K-CBCL에서 불안행동이 사전 검사 6점에서 사후검사 0점으로 나타나 아동의 불안행동이 감소되었음을 보여 주었다. 셋째, 투사검사 K-HTP 사전검사에서는 그림이 작고 하단에 치우쳐져 위축을 나타냈으나 사후 검사에서는 자신을 보호하려는 의지로 구분을 하여 가시그림과 나쁜 행동으로부터 격리되고 싶은 의지를 보여주어 자아감이 향상되었음을 보였다. 넷째, 초기 행동변화에서는 소극적이며 경직되어 자기주장이나 표현을 잘하지 못하는 불안함을 보였으나, 후기 행동변화에서는 활동영역이 넓어졌고 작품에 대한 언어적 상호작용을 많이 보여 주었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to see if art therapy is helpful in reducing institutionalized children's withdrawn actions and anxiety. The study subject is a single institutionalized child who shows withdrawn symptoms and anxiety. The art therapy program for the subject consists of total 12 sessions, 1-2 sessions a week, each session lasting 60 minutes. The instruments used for analysis are K-CBCL as measurement of problematic behavior and K-HTP as drawing test for projection. The results obtained are as follows. First, withdrawn actions on K-CBCL of problematic behavior were shown to be reduced from the score of 10 points on pre-test to the score of 2 points on post-test. Second, the anxiety level on K-CBCL indicates that the child's anxious behavior has been reduced from 6 points on pre-test to 0 point on post-test. Third, on the projection test of K-HTP, the pre-test drawing exhibits small pictures at the bottom of the drawing paper to reveal withdrawn symptoms, while the post-test drawing displays pictures with thorns to show his intentions to protect himself from bad behavior. Thus, this projection test suggests some improvement on the subject's self esteem. Fourth, early changes on behavior show some anxiety not to be able to express himself properly because of uncomfortableness and passive attitude. Whereas post behavioral changes show not only that the subject's scope of activity has been widened, but that the subject's linguistic interaction has been highly ungraded.
