스마트태그를 활용한 스마트교육의 효과성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학교 수업현장에서 스마트태그의 활용을 통한 스마트교육의 교육적 효과성을 검증하 고 교육적 시사점을 제공하는 데 본 연구의 목적을 두고 있으며, 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였 다. 첫째, 학습집단을 스마트태그를 활용한 스마트교육 방법과 전통적 강의식 교육방법을 적용한 두 집단으로 나누어, 두 집단 간 간 학업성취도에는 어떠한 차이가 있는가?, 둘째, 두 집단 간 교육적 효과성(교육방법, 교수？학습과정, 자기주도적 학습력, 교과에 대한 태도)에는 어떠한 차이가 있는가? 본 연구결과, 스마트태그를 활용한 학습집단이 전통적 강의식 교육방법을 적용한 학습집단에 비해 학업성취도 및 교육적 효과성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 기존 서책형 교과서중심 교과수업의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 스마트 교육환경에서 새로운 교육방법으로서 등장한 스마트태그를 활용한 스마트교육을 확산시켜 나갈 필요가 있다. 즉, 학습내용과 관련해서 극히 제한된 정보만을 제공하는 서책형교과서 중심의 수업에서 벗어나서 학습내용에 대한 보다 상세한 정보, 부가적인 학습자원을 함께 제공할 수 있도록 스마트태그를 활용한 교과수업을 설계, 시행하는 학교교육 현장에서의 교사 의 새로운 역할과 적극적인 노력이 요구된다. 결론적으로 교과수업에서 스마트태그를 적절한 방법으 로 설계, 활용하면 학생들의 학습동기 유발은 물론 학업성취에 도움이 되는 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 이와 같은 스마트교육의 효과적인 교육성과는 스마트 교육환경 속에서 새로운 방법의 교육적 변화 를 시도하고자 하는 학교교육 현장에 시사하는 바가 크다 하겠다.

영문 초록

This study has set a direction of how to design lessons and create and apply educational contents with smart education methods in order to effectively practice it in school, based on the previous studies and the related literature. With the direction the instructional designs and the educational contents were implemented to maximize the effectiveness of smart education and the products were attached on existing textbooks as a form of the smart tag, which is a new teaching method to students. As a result of the implementation, academic achievement scores of students in the experiment were significantly increased but the ones in the traditional instructor-led method(i.e. control group) were not. Also in order to analyze differences according to the students’ academic performances, the students were regrouped into a high academic performance group and a low one. After the analysis, it was shown that the high level students and the low level ones in the experiment, and the high level students in the control group showed the statistically meaningful score differences whereas the low level students in the control group did not. With aspects of educational effectiveness, in the students of the experimental group the saliently increased effectiveness was shown in ‘teaching and learning area’ and ‘attitudes toward the subject area’, except ‘teaching method area’ and ‘self-directed learning ability area’. When divided with the academic performance criterion, high level students among the two groups did not show statistically meaningful differences between the experimental group and the control group in the effectiveness perspective. Low level students, however, they showed the meaningful differences between the two groups in the areas of ‘teaching methods’, ‘teaching and learning process’, and ‘attitudes toward the subject area’, with the exception of ‘self-directed learning ability area’.
