수학 디지털교과서 활용 수업성과에 대한 정보리터러시와 학업적 자기효능감의 예측력과 인지적 실재감의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구는 문헌연구를 토대로 하여, 수학 디지털교과서를 활용한 수업의 성취도와 만족도를 예측하는 변인으로 학습자의 정보리터러시와 학업적 자기효능감 및 인지적 실재감을 상정하고, 이들 변인의 예측력을 규명하고자 하였다. 수학 디지털교과서를 활용하여 12주 동안 수업을 받은 D 초등학교의 5학년 학생 79명을 대상으로 하여 연구를 진행한 결과, 수학 디지털교과서 활용 학습에서 학습자의 정보리터러시와 학업적 자기효능감은 각각 학업성취도(정보리터러시: β=.24, p<.05, 학업적 자기효능감: β=.29, p<.05)와 만족도(정보리터러시: β=.52, p<.05, 학업적 자기효능감: β=.37, p<.05)를 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 인지적 실재감은 학습자의 정보리터러시와 학업적 자기효능감이 만족도를 예측하는데 부분적인 매개 작용을 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이상의 연구결과는 성공적인 디지털교과서 활용 수업을 위해서는 사전에 학습자의 정보리터러시와 학업적 자기효능감 향상을 위한 준비가 필요하며, 수업 중에는 인지적 실재감 증진을 위한 교사의 수업운영 전략이 필요함을 제시하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to identify the significant predictors that affect learning outcomes when mathematics digital textbooks were used. Based on literature reviews, information literacy and academic self-efficacy were identified as predictors of representing learner characteristics, and cognitive presence was identified as a mediating predictor of learning outcomes. Achievement and satisfaction were selected to measure learning outcomes. Participants were 79 fifth graders in a model school selected for the digital textbook research project in South Korea. Research findings showed information literacy and academic self-efficacy significantly predicted achievement and satisfaction. And cognitive presence mediated the relationship between information literacy and satisfaction. Also it mediated the relationship between academic self-efficacy and satisfaction. However, in terms of the academic achievement, cognitive presence did not mediated the two predicting variables and academic achievement. The findings imply that information literacy, academic self-efficacy and cognitive presence should be highly facilitated to enhance learning outcomes in using digital textbooks.
