대학 전공 공부에 필요한 계열별 고교 선수교과목 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학 전공 공부에 필요한 고교 선수교과목을 계열별로 분석하는 것이다. 연구 목적과 관련하여 분석된 현행 대학입시는 대학의 모집단위별 고교 선수교과목이 다름에도 불구하고 무차별적으로 국영수 위주로 학생부를 활용하고 있었다. 대수능도 역시 고교 선수학습으로 확인되어야 할 영역이 모집단위별로 다름에도 불구하고 무차별적으로 국영수 위주로 활용되고 있었다. 또한 모집단위가 요구하는 수학에 대한 선수학습 수준이 다르므로, 수리 ‘가’나 ‘나’ 중 하나를 사전에 지정해야 되나, 선발의 편의로 아무것이나 점수가 높은 영역을 받아들이고 있었다. 탐구영역에서도 의약?보건계열을 제외한 나머지 계열이 모집단위의 선수학습을 고려하지 않고, 사회, 과학, 직업 영역 중 아무것이나 받아들이고 있었다. 대학 전공 공부에 필요한 고교 선수교과목에 대한 설문조사 결과, 고교에서 선수학습 할 필요가 있는 교과목으로 인문계열은 역사, 국어(상), 외국어/국제계열은 영어(상), 상경계열은 정치?경제, 사회(일반)계열은 정치?경제, 법?사회, 역사로 조사되었다. 공학계열은 물리, 수학(상), 화학, 자연과학 계열은 물리, 화학, 의약/보건계열은 생물, 화학, 교육(사범)계열은 윤리, 역사, 국어(상), 예체능계열은 예술, 체육을 선수 학습할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 학생의 학업 진로에 따른 다양한 고교 교육과정을 학교가 설계하고, 대학은 전공 공부에 필요한 고교 선수교과목을 학습한 학생을 선발할 수 있도록 대학입시를 설계하는 데 기초가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This research is to survey what courses should be studied in high school as a prerequisite in order to study well in college. This means that what kind of subjects are needed to be studied in high school beforehand to do well in college. We examined the high school subjects to be assessed in about 200 college entrance examinations and surveyed what kind of subjects should be taken in advance to the college majors. The result of the survey is that it is necessary to categorize some high school subjects into some groups according to the majors in college. History, high level Korean and foreign languages are needed to be studied beforehand in high school for future liberal arts studies. High level English for international studies; economics and politics for business school; economics, politics, laws and history for social science studies; physics, chemistry and advanced mathematics for engineering; physics and chemistry for natural science studies; biology and chemistry for medical science studies; ethics, history and high level Korean for college of education should be taught in high school for better performance in college. In summary, this study shows that it is needed to categorize high school's courses with some groups by the majors in college because almost all the students that graduate from Korean high schools are planning to go to college.
