체육교사가 인식하는 교수능력에 대한 중요도와 수행정도

국문 초록

이 연구는 체육교사가 인식하고 있는 교수능력에 대한 중요도와 수행정도의 분석을 통해 효율적 교수능력 함양에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 분석결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 체육교사는 교수능력의 중요도 인식에 비해 낮은 수행정도를 보이고 있었다. 또한 5가지 세부 교수능력별에 있어서도 수행정도가 중요도 인식에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 체육과 교수능력에 대한 중요도 인식과 수행정도의 상관관계는 높게 나타났으며, 5가지 세부 교수능력별에 있어서도 통계적으로 유의한 상관을 보이고 있었다. 셋째, 체육교사의 교수능력 수행에 영향을 미치는 교수능력의 중요도 인식으로는 목표설정 및 교수?학습계획과 체육 교수?학습 과정분석과 평가의 내용이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론을 종합하면, 체육교사는 교수능력에 대하여 높은 중요도 인식과 수행정도를 보이고 있었으나 중요도 인식에 비해 수행정도가 낮음을 알 수 있다. 또한 교수능력별 중요도 인식의 정도가 수행정도에 영향을 미치고 있으므로 체육교육의 목표성취를 위해서는 체육교사의 인식개선과 함께 내?외적인 환경조성이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 이에 효율적인 체육과 교수?학습의 실현을 위하여 교육적 여건개선 노력과 교수능력의 수행에 대한 장애요인 분석 및 해결을 위한 방안 마련이 있어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data needed for enhancing efficient teaching competency by investigating the importance of teaching competency perceived by physical education teachers and their performance level. The conclusion as a result of analysis is as follows: First, physical education teachers shows a lower performance level compared to their perception level of importance in terms of teaching competency. The performance level is also lower than the perception level of importance in terms of five detailed teaching competencies. Second, there is a close correlation between perception of importance and the performance level of teaching competency. A statistically significant correlation is also found in five detailed teaching competencies. Third, perception of importance that has influence upon physical education teachers' performance of teaching competency is goal setting, teaching/learning planning, analysis of physical education teaching/learning curriculum and contents of evaluation. In conclusion, physical education teachers shows high levels both in perception of importance and performance of teaching competency, but their performance level is lower than their perception. level of importance Since their perception level of importance has influence upon their performance level, it is very important not only to create an appropriate internal and external environment but also to improve their perception level in order to accomplish the goals of physical education. And it is also required to make efforts to improve educational conditions, to analyze and solve hindering problems against performance of teaching competency, in order to realize efficient physical education teaching/learning.
