부모 집단면담을 통한 성인기 발달장애 자녀의 도전적 행동 유형과 특성 분석에 관한 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 부모면담을 통해 성인기 발달장애 자녀의 도전적 행동과 특성을 분석함으로써 가정에서의 긍정적 개입을 위한 방안을 모색하는데 유용한 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 연구 참여자는 부산광역시 소재 사회종합복지관과 장애인복지관의 장애인주간보호센터를 이용하는 장애자녀의 부모 총 60명을 의도적 표집방법을 통해 선정하였다. 연구 설계는 설문조사와 집단면담의 혼합 연구방법을 사용하였다. 도전적 행동 유형을 도출하기 위해서 2017년 7월에 어머니 10명을 대상으로 예비면담을 3회 진행하였다. 도전적 행동 유형과 특성을 알아보기 위해서 2017년 11월에 집단면담을 5회 진행하였으며, 집단면담을 시작하기 전에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 기초통계량(N, %) 산출, Bogdan과 Biklen(2007)이 제시한 질적 연구방법에 따라 각각 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 발달장애인이 표출하는 도전적 행동 유형은 집착성, 소리 지르기가 1순위로 가장 높은 빈도를 보여주었다. 그 다음으로는 타행행동(2순위), 강박행동 및 자해행동(3순위), 특이한 식습관(4순위) 순인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 발달장애인이 표출하는 도전적 행동특성을 분석하기 위해 순위별에 따른 면담자료 결과를 제시하였다. 논의 및 결론: 연구에서 도출된 주된 결과를 선행연구에 비추어 논의하고 가정에서의 긍정적 개입을 위한 부모를 대상으로 한 전문가 자문기회 확대 및 다양한 프로그램 실행이 필요하다는 결론을 얻었다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide useful data to explore strategies for affirmative intervention at home through parent interviews about rebellious behaviors and characteristics of adulthood developmental disorder children. Method: For this purpose, 60 parents were selected to complete questionnaire and interviews from the Week Protection Center for Disabled Persons in Busan. The group interviews were conducted five times in November, 2017 to investigate the types and characteristics of challenging behaviors, and questionnaires were conducted before group interviews. The data was analyzed by basic statistics, the qualitative research method presented by Bogdan and Biklen(2007) respectively. Results: Firstly, obsession and screaming showed the highest ranking of the challenging behaviors expressed by the developmental disabled. they were followed by behavior (2nd), compulsive and self-harm(3rd), and unusual eating habits(4th). Secondly, in order to analyze the characteristics of challenging behaviors by persons with developmental disabilities, the results of interview data were presented on types, causes, responses, and anxieties. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that parents consultation and intervention program is needed for positive intervention at home.
