국문 초록

본 연구는 영화음악을 활용한 노래심리치료가 저소득층 아동의 자아존중감과 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 노래심리치료 활동은 아동이 선호하는 영화음악을 적용하였으며 음악 감상, 노래 부르기, 가사 토의, 노래(가사 및 선율) 만들기 기법이 포함되었다. 연구의 대상자는 서울시 H지역아동센터를 이용하는 저소득층 아동으로, 14명을 유의표집한 뒤 실험집단 7명과 통제집단 7명으로 구분하여 무선배치한 후 전후 검사 통제집단 설계방식으로 노래심리치료를 시행하였다. SPSS 20.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였으며 순위 공변량분석, Mann-Whitney U 검정, Wilcoxon 대응 표본 부호순위검정을 시행하였다. 연구 결과 영화음악을 활용한 노래심리치료에 참여한 실험집단의 저소득층 아동은 자아존중감과 자아탄력성에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 노래심리치료가 저소득층 아동의 자아존중감과 자아탄력성을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과적인 음악치료 중재 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사하며, 아동이 선호하는 영화음악을 사용하여 노래심리치료에 적용되는 음악 자원의 폭을 확장했다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of song psychotherapy activity using movie soundtracks on self esteem and ego-resilience of children in low-income families. The song psychotherapy activity has been applied by the choice of the movie soundtracks preferred by the children and include technique such as listening, singing, discussing lyrics and writing a song(lyrics and melodies). The participants of this study were 14 children in low-income families from H community child center in Seoul. Out of 14 participants, 7 were randomly assigned into an experimental group and other 7 into a control group in order to execute song psychotherapy in Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design method. The SPSS 20.0 program was utilized for data analysis of the result of following tests: Mann-Whitney U test, Ranked ANCOVA, and Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed-ranks. According to the study result, song psychotherapy activity using movie soundtracks has significantly improved the children s self-esteem and ego-resilience from low-income families. Also this study suggest that the song psychotherapy activity using movie soundtrack is an effective method to improve self-esteem and ego-resilience of children in low-income families. This study has contributed to expand the range of music resources that are applied to song psychotherapy which is substantial result.
