성인 장애인의 평생학습 지향 형태 및 성과 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 전국의 장애인복지관 이용 성인 장애인을 대상으로 평생학습 지향 형태와 성인 장애인이 인식하는 평생학습 성과를 조사하고 성인 장애인의 생애주기에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 연구를 위해 장애인복지관에서 공급한 평생교육 프로그램 이용 경험이 있는 성인 장애인 390명을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인 장애인의 평생학습 지향 형태를 분석한 결과, 학습매체 지향 형태는 ‘혼합매체’가 가장 많았으며, 학습집단 지향 형태는 ‘집단학습’이 가장 많았고, 학습태도는 ‘새로운 것을 배우는 것의 즐거움’이 가장 많이 나타났다. 둘째, 성인 장애인의 평생학습 성과를 분석한 결과, 인지적 영역에서는 ‘직업능력향상’이 가장 높았고, 학습적 영역에서는 ‘새로운 지식 습득’이 가장 높았으며, 정의적 영역에서는 ‘일상 만족도 향상’이 가장 높았다. 마지막으로 사회적 영역에서는 ‘동료와의 유대감 증진’이 가장 높게 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 평생학습 활성화 및 지원 방안에 대하여 몇 가지 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study is designed to check out the pursued styles of the lifelong learning for the adults having disabilities and their outcomes which they recognize by targeting the adult having disabilities visiting the welfare center for the disabled located around the nation. For this study, 390 adults have disabilities have been selected who had the experience of using the lifelong education program provided by the welfare facilities for the disabled. The key outcomes are as follows. First, the analysis of the style which the lifelong learning for the adult having disabilities pursues shows that the most widely used style of learning media was the “mixed media”, the most widely used learning group was the “collective learning” and that the most of the learning attitude was “Joy of learning something new”. Second, the analysis of the lifelong learning outcomes for the adults having disabilities shows that the “job capability enhancement” was the highest in the field of perception, the “acquisition of new knowledge” was the highest in the learning field and “the enhancement in the daily satisfaction” was the highest in the field of definition. Lastly, it was found that the “increase in the fellowship with colleague” was the highest in the social field. Based on the outcomes of the study, several ways for activation of the lifelong learning for the disabled and the supporting methods have been discussed.
