국문 초록

본 연구에서는 여가활동으로서 시니어의 합창 활동이 건강, 여가태도, 여가만족 및 심리적 복지감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어와 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어 간의 건강, 여가태도, 여가만족, 심리적 복지감에 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 대상은 은퇴 후 여가활동을 하는 서울과 경기도에 거주하고 있는 시니어 228명이며, 이중 118명은 여가활동으로 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어들이며, 110명은 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어들이다. 설문지는 2014년 8월부터 10월까지 배부 및 수거되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 여가활동으로 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어들의 정신적 건강, 신체적 건강, 사회적 건강 및 전반적인 건강이 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어들보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어들의 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 여가태도 및 전반적 여가태도가 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어들보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어들의 여가만족이 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어들보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 합창 활동에 참여한 시니어들의 심리적 복지감이 기타 여가활동에 참여한 시니어들보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find the effectiveness of chorus on the health, leisure, attitude, leisure satisfaction and psychological well-being of the senior in Korea. For this study, the items selected were presented in a questionnaire ot 228 senior of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. 118 senior were participated in chorus, and 110 senior were participated in other leisure activities. The participants were asked to the health, leisure attitude, leisure satisfaction and psychological well-being. The results were as follows: First, the health score showed significant greater in the chorus senior group than in the other leisure activities group. Second, the leisure attitude score showed significant greater in the chorus senior group than in the other leisure activities group. Third, the leisure satisfaction score showed significant greater in the chorus senior group than in the other leisure activities group. Fourth, the psychological well-being score showed significant greater in the chorus senior group than in the other leisure activities group. This study indicates that chorus activity is effectiveness for the health, the leisure attitude, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being for the senior.
