국문 초록
예이츠와 스티븐스는 자연과 실체와 상상을 사용한 시인이다. 그러나 두 시인은 서로 유사한 시상을 고유하기도 했지만, 그들은 주로 상반된 방법을 사용하였다. 예이츠는 시를 신화와 혼합해서 승화시키려 하였으나, 스티븐스는 전통과 신화를 해체하여 인간적인 상상으로 시화시켰다. 특히 두 시인은 상반된 종교관과 이성관을 가지고 인간의 상상력을 극대화 시켰다.
영문 초록
Yeats and Stevens are poets of nature and imagination. Yeats mystifies nature, but Stevens demystifies it. Although they describe nature as a main theme and setting, they view nature in different ways and perspectives. Yeats describes nature as an incomprehensible mystery beyond human rational, whereas Stevens observes nature as otherness and reality. Thus, they take different directions and find different sets of values in nature.
