무령왕릉 출토 중국자기의 용도와 산지 연구

국문 초록

중국자기와 동반유물과의 관계, 중국 요지(窯址)에 대한 고고학적 조사 성과에 근거하여 무령왕릉 출토 중국자기의 용도와 산지를 추정해 보았다. 흑유자반구사이병은 주기(酒器)로 사용되었고, 청자육이호는 출토위치와 동반유물과의 관계를 고려하여 곡물을 저장하는 용기로 보이며, 청자잔은 무령왕릉에서 등잔과 액체를 담는 용기로 사용되었다. 왕의 관대 앞에서 발견된 청자잔은 흑유자반구사이병과 함께 놓였던 점에 기인하여 흑유자반구사이병과 세트를 이루는 주기로 추정된다. 출토자기의 산지 추정을 위해서 남조시기 주요 자기 요장의 현황을 파악하고 그에 기초한 연구를 진행하였다. 흑유자반구사이병은 덕청요에서 생산한 제품으로 판단되고, 남방지역 요장에서 생산된 것으로 보이는 청자육이호는 호남성 악주요(岳州窯) 중의 마왕감(馬王墈)요지 출토 청자호와 유사한 면을 보이며, 청자잔은 홍주요에서 생산된 잔(완)류와 기형, 크기, 태토, 유색 등 여러 면에서 동일한 특징을 보인다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 흑유자반구사이병은 덕청요에서 생산된 주기이고, 남방지역 요장인 악주요에서 생산되었을 것으로 추정되는 청자육이호는 곡식을 저장하기 위한 용기로 쓰였으며, 청자잔은 홍주요에서 생산된 것으로 보편적인 잔의 용도 외에 등잔으로도 사용된 사례이다.

영문 초록

Based on the relationship between Chinese porcelain and its accompanying relics and the results of archaeological investigations into Chinese kiln sites, the use and provenance of the Chinese porcelain excavated from the tomb of King Muryeong were estimated. The black-glazed ware dish-shaped mouth four-eared vessel(黑釉瓷盤口四耳甁) was used as a wine vessel, and the celadon six-eared jar(靑瓷六耳壺) appears to be a container for storing grain, considering its excavation location and relationship with accompanying relics, and the celadon cup(靑瓷盞) was used as a lamp and liquid container in the tomb of King Muryeong. The celadon cup discovered in front of the king's coffin was placed with the black-glazed ware dish-shaped mouth four-eared vessel, so it is assumed that it was a set with the black-glazed ware dish-shaped mouth four-eared vessel. In order to estimate the provenance of the excavated porcelain, ascertained the current status of the main porcelain kilns of the Southern Dynasties and conducted research based on that. The black-glazed ware dish-shaped mouth four-eared vessel is thought to be a product produced at Deqing kiln(德淸窯), and the celadon six-eared jar, which appears to have been produced at a kiln in the southern region, shows similar aspects to the celadon jar excavated from the Mawangkan kiln(馬王墈窯) site of Yuezhou kiln(岳州窯) in Hunan Province, the celadon cup shows the same characteristics in many ways as the cups(bowls) produced in Hongzhou kiln(洪州窯), such as shape, size, clay body, and glaze color. To sum up the above research results, the black-glazed ware dish-shaped mouth four-eared vessel was produced in Deqing kiln, the celadon six-eared jar, which is assumed to have been produced in the Yuezhou kiln, a kiln in the southern region, was used as a container to store grain, and the celadon cup was produced in Hongzhou kiln and was used as a lamp in addition to its general use as a cup.
