국문 초록

이 연구는 경찰공무원의 직무스트레스가 조직시민행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 검증하고자 하였다. 또한 경찰공무원의 직무스트레스와 조직시민행동의 관계에서 상사의 리더십이 어떠한 조절역할을 하는지 실증적으로 검증하였다. 이와 같은 관계를 분석하고자 2024년 2월 한 달 동안 경찰공무원 173명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 경찰공무원이 직무로 인한 스트레스는 조직시민행동에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 경찰공무원이 직무로 인한 스트레스는 경찰조직이 추구하는 목표달성에 있어서 저해하는 요소로 설명할 수 있다. 경찰공무원의 직무스트레스와 조직시민행동에 있어서 상사의 리더십은 유의미한 조절작용을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 상사의 리더십은 경찰공무원의 직무스트레스와 조직시민행동의 관계에서 정적인 영향력을 강화하는 것이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 경찰조직의 목표달성에 있어서 경찰공무원의 직무로 인한 스트레스와 상사의 리더십을 토대로 정책적 대안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study sought to verify the impact of job stress on police officers' organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, we empirically verified the moderating role that superiors' leadership plays in the relationship between police officers' job stress and organizational citizenship behavior. To analyze this relationship, a survey was conducted on 173 police officers during the month of February 2024. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that stress caused by police officers' jobs had a negative effect on organizational citizenship behavior. This can be explained by the stress caused by police officers' duties as a factor that hinders them from achieving the goals pursued by the police organization. It was confirmed that superiors' leadership had a significant moderating effect on police officers' job stress and organizational citizenship behavior. In other words, the superior's leadership strengthens the positive influence in the relationship between job stress and organizational citizenship behavior of police officers. Therefore, in this study, policy alternatives were presented based on the stress caused by police officers' jobs and the leadership of their superiors in achieving the goals of the police organization.
