노인 자기방임사례 개입에 대한 탐색적 연구 : 사례 개입의 특성과 영향요인을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다양한 직군의 실무자가 경험한 노인 자기방임사례 개입의특성과 영향요인을 탐색하여 노인 자기방임사례 개입을 위한 기초자료를 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 편의표집한 노인 자기방임사례 개입 경험이 있는 실무자 9명을 대상으로 2024년 3월부터 4월까지 면담을 실시하였다. 연구방법론으로질적 사례연구를, 분석방법으로 내용분석방법을 활용하여 분석한 결과, 노인 자기방임사례 개입의 특성은 “타인에 의해 시작되는 개입”, “강제 개입에 대한 고민”, “자발성 여부에 따라 달라지는 성과”의 3개 범주가 도출되었다. 노인 자기방임사례 개입 영향요인은 “개입에 어려움을 초래하는 노인 및 가족특성”, “개입에 중요한 실무자 역량과 개입전략”, “개입에 영향을 미치는 지역사회 협조및 정책의 구조적 한계”의 3개 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 라포형성과 개별화된 지원, 협조체계 구축 및 활용을 뒷받침할 수 있는 정책적 지원이 필요하며, 자기방임에 특화된 교육이 시행되어야 함을 제언하였다

영문 초록

This study aims to comprehensively understand the intervention experiences of practitioners across various professional fields regarding cases of self-neglect among older adults, and to provide fundamental data for effective interventions in such cases. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with nine practitioners who have experience in addressing elder self-neglect. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis methods. Results revealed two categories as follows: feature for intervention and influencing factors of intervention. Based on the result, the following implications were suggested: the importance of reviewing case management outcomes based on informed consent for intervention; establishing legal and ethical guidelines for involuntary interventions; implementing rapid interventions though cooperative systems involving relevant agencies, including healthcare professionals, enhancing community awareness of self-neglect, and providing specialized training and education for practitioners.
