신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형과 삶의 만족도의 관계에 관한 연구 : 생성감의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형화를 통해 신중년의 사회적 관계망의 특성을 살펴보고, 사회적 관계망 유형이 삶의 만족도에 미치는영향을 파악하는 것이다. 또한 신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 있어서 생성감의 매개효과를 검증해보는 것이다. 자료수집은 50대 300명, 60대 300명 총 600명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자기기입식 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 회수된 설문지 600부 모두가 최종 분석자료에 사용되었다. 주요분석 방법은 Hair와 Black이 제안한 2단계군집분석, 카이제곱검정( ), 다중회귀분석, Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 매개효과분석, 부트스트래핑을 사용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형은 4개로 구분되었다. 둘째, 4개로 유형화된 신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형이 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는지를 분석한 결과, 성별, 종교, 거주지역규모, 주관적 건강상태, 교육수준, 경제활동(직업), 연 가구총소득 변수에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 신중년의 사회적 관계망 유형에 따른 삶의 만족도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 사회적 관계망과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 생성감은 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 논의가 이루어졌으며 신중년의생성감과 삶의 만족도 향상을 위한 정책적·실천적 방안이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of social networks of the new middle-aged through the categorization of social networks of the new middle-aged, and to understand the effects of social network types on life satisfaction. In addition, it is to verify the mediating effects of generativity on the effects of social network types of the new middle-aged on life satisfaction. For data collection, a total of 600 people, with 300 people in their 50s and 300 people in their 60s were surveyed using a structured questionnaire, and all 600 copies of collected questionnaires were used as final analysis data. The main analysis methods used were two-stage cluster analysis proposed by Hair and Black, the chi-square test(  ), multiple regression analysis, mediating effect analysis proposed by Baron and Kenny, and bootstrapping. The main results are as follows. First, the social network types of the new middle-aged were divided into four types. Second, as a result of analyzing whether the social network types of the new middle-aged, which are categorized into four types, differ according to demographic characteristics, there were significant differences with the variables of gender, religion, residential area size, subjective health status, education level, economic activity(occupation), and annual gross household income. Third, differences in life satisfaction were found according to the social network type of the new middle-aged. Fourth, generativity was shown to have a mediating effect in the relationship between social network and life satisfaction. Discussions were conducted centering on these research results, and policy and practical measures were suggested to improve the generativity and life satisfaction of the new middle-aged.
