民族文化交往视角下的求雨传说

국문 초록

The legend of the imam praying for rain is widely spread in the mixed communities of Hui and Han in Henan. This type of legend originated from the long-standing historical and cultural exchanges between the Hui and Han ethnic groups, and consists of three stable plot elements: prolonged drought without rain, imam praying for rain, and heavy rain from the sky. According to the differences in plot between legendary and variant texts, they can be divided into two types: simple praying for rain type and praying for rain and snow type. The two prominent themes of praying for rain by the pool and snow falling in June mainly reflect the deep interaction and integration of Hui and Han cultures, as well as the meaning of ethnic cultural competition. However, the practical need to cope with production and living difficulties and resist the oppression of the ruling class clearly transcends cultural differences among ethnic groups, thereby weakening the competition of ethnic cultures. The various folk tales, represented by the legend of an imam praying for rain, shared and told by the Hui Han people, help to enhance mutual understanding and appreciation among different ethnic groups living in the same place, and improve and adjust ethnic relations unconsciously.

영문 초록

河南回汉杂居社区广泛流传着阿訇求雨的传说，该类型传说产生于回汉民族久远的历史交往和文化交流，由三个稳定的情节基干构成：久旱不雨、阿訇求雨、天降大雨。依据传说异文的情节差异划分为单纯求雨型和祈雨祈雪型。两种类型的突出母题水潭祈雨、六月飞雪主要体现了回汉文化的深度交往与融合，亦有民族文化竞争的意味。然而，应对生产生活困境以及反抗统治阶级压迫的现实需要明显超越了族群的文化差异，由此也弱化了民族文化的竞争。被回汉民众所共享、讲述的以阿訇求雨传说为代表的多种民间传说故事，有助于增进共居一地不同民族之间的相互了解与欣赏，在潜移默化中改善和调剂民族关系。
