기독교세계관으로 씌여진 문복희의 한국현대시조 연구

국문 초록

시조는 한국문학의 핵심 위치를 차지하고 있다. 본 논문은 이런 문학적 흐름 속에서 문복희의 한국현대시조를 고찰하여 그 중심 내용이 무엇인지를 밝혀내었다. 문복희 시조의 현대적 문학성과 종교적 이념과 사회적 활동을 분석하기 위해 그의 작품 시조집 6권 475편을 분석한 결과 “기독교세계관에 바탕한 정형시조”인 동시에 “전통 운율을 계승한 정통시조”이다. 그의 작품에 들어있는 모든 주제와 소재와 내용들에는 성경말씀에 근거한 하나님 사상이 기본적으로 바탕에 깔려 있으며, 한국의 전통 운율을 현대적으로 정착시킨 3장 6구 45자 내외의 글자수로 정형화 되어 있다. 이 내용을 좀 더 자세히 살펴보면 다음 두 가지 특징으로 정리할 수 있다. 문복희 시조의 첫 번째 특징은 기독교세계관을 바탕으로 하고 있다는 점이다. 그 내용을 자세히 들여다보면 서로 다른 세 개의 세계관이 각각의 중요한 메시지인 동시에 서로간에 유기적으로 연결되어 작동하고 있다. 셋 중에서 제일 먼저가 믿음의 세계관이다. 문복희는 하나님께서 천지를 창조하고 인간에게 복 내려 주고 또 보호하며 인도해 주심을 절대적으로 믿고 있다. 그는 믿음의 세계관에다 문학적 상상력과 기교를 융합시켜 현대한국시조를 창작해 내었다. 다음으로 그는 사랑의 세계관을 시조 작품 속에 많이 담아 내고 있다. 하나님이 세상을 사랑하신 것처럼 그의 작품에는 인간을 사랑하고 자연을 사랑하며 우리 삶과 일상 생활에 사랑하는 마음과 시선을 가득 담아 작품으로 만들어내었다. 마지막으로 그는 믿음의 세계관을 인간 삶의 목적과 목표로 삼아 시조 작품에 그려내고 있다. 예수 그리스도를 믿어 구원받아야 하며 궁극적으로 하나님나라천국에 들어가야 한다는 기독교세계관이 그의 작품에 다 들어있다. 두 번째로 문복희 시조의 특징은 우리나라의 전통운율을 계승한 정통시조라는 점이다. 고시조에 나타난 구지가로부터 현대까지 오랫동안 유지되어 온 우리의 전통 운율이 문복희 작품 속에 안착되어 있다. 현대시조에는 거의 정착되어 있는 3-4, 3-4/ 3-4, 3-4/ 3-5, 4-3/의 45자 내외의 글자수는 문복희 시조 전반에 적용되어 있으며, 문학적 은유와 비유의 기교를 사용한 한국현대시조로 창작되었다. 그리고 이것을 대학생과 일반인들에게 교육하며, 해외 대학교와 학생들에게도 알리고 보급하는데 앞장서고 있다. 세 번째로 문복희 시조는 한국현대시조를 세계화하는데 활용되고 있다. 문복희는 대학교에서 수강하는 중국 일본 몽골 등의 유학생들에게 시조를 지도하고 특별관리하는 것은 물론 외국 대학에서 초청받아 한국시조를 강의하고 발표하고 작품집 발행하는 등 세계화 활동에 앞장서고 있다. 문복희의 한국현대시조를 집중 분석하고 연구하여 그 특징을 발견해 낸 결과 그의 모든 작품들은 기독교세계관을 배경으로 하고 있으며, 다양한 소재와 주제의 속에는 믿음의 신앙과 문학의 상상력과 우리나라 전통적 운율을 온전하게 융합시키고 있다. 그래서 문복희 시조는 한국 현대시조에 전통적 운율을 올바르게 장착하고 있어 “기독교 정신으로 씌여진한국현대 정통 시조”의 표본이라 할 수 있다. 뿐만아니라 문복희는 한국현대시조를 국내외에 적극 알리고 보급하며 세계화시켜 나가는 데 앞장서고 있다.

영문 초록

Sijo occupies a key position in Korean literature.This paper examines Moon Bok-hee’s modern Korean poetry within this literary flow and reveals its central content.In order to analyze the modern literary value, religious ideology, and social activities of Moon Bok-hee’s sijo, we analyzed 475 poems in volume 6 of his sijo collection. As a result, we found that he is “a typical sijo based on a Christian worldview” and at the same time an “orthodox sijo that inherits traditional meter.”All the themes, materials, and contents in his works are based on God’s thoughts based on the Bible, and are standardized in 3 chapters, 6 phrases, and a character count of about 45 characters, which is a modern adaptation of Korea’s traditional rhyme..If we look at this in more detail, it can be summarized into the following two characteristics.The first characteristic of Moon Bok-hee’s sijo is that it is based on a Christian worldview.If you look closely at the contents, the three different worldviews each have important messages and are organically connected to each other.The first of the three is the worldview of faith.Moon Bok-hee absolutely believes that God created heaven and earth and blesses, protects, and guides humans.He created modern Korean sijo by combining literary imagination and technique with a worldview of faith.Next, he embodies the world view of love in many of his sijo works.Just as God loves the world, his works are filled with love for humans, love for nature, and love for our lives and daily lives.Lastly, he depicts the worldview of faith as the purpose and goal of human life in his sijo works.The Christian worldview that one must believe in Jesus Christ to be saved and ultimately enter the kingdom of heaven is reflected in his works.Second, the characteristic of Moon Bok-hee’s sijo is that it is an authentic sijo that inherits Korea’s traditional rhyme.Our traditional rhyme, which has been maintained for a long time from the Guji family in Gosijo to modern times, is established in Moon Bok-hee’s works.The character count of around 45 characters, such as 3-4, 3-4/ 3-4, 3-4/ 3-5, and 4-3/, which are almost established in modern sijo, is applied throughout Moon Bok-hee’s sijo, and is used as a literary metaphor and It was created as a modern Korean sijo using the technique of metaphor.And we are taking the lead in educating college students and the general public about this and disseminating it to overseas universities and students.Thirdly, Moon Bok-hee’s sijo is being used to globalize modern Korean sijo.Moon Bok-hee is leading globalization activities by teaching and specially managing sijo to international students from China, Japan, and Mongolia taking classes at universities, as well as lecturing and presenting Korean sijo at foreign universities and publishing collections of her works.As a result of intensive analysis and research on Moon Bok-hee’s modern Korean sijo and discovering its characteristics, all of his works are based on a Christian worldview, and in various materials and themes, faith in faith, literary imagination, and Korean traditional rhyme are fully integrated.I am ordering it.Therefore, Moon Bok-hee’s sijo can be said to be a model of “Korean modern orthodox sijo written in the spirit of Christianity” as it correctly incorporates the traditional rhyme of modern Korean sijo.In addition, Moon Bok-hee is taking the lead in actively promoting, disseminating, and globalizing Korean modern sijo at home and abroad.
