국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 지방소멸의 정도가 사회적경제에 대한 의존성을 심화하는지를 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 우리나라 지방행정구역을 분석의 단위로 설정하였으며, 종속변수는 사회적경제 의존성을 측정하는 대리지표를, 주요 독립변수는 소멸 위기 정도를 측정하는 지방소멸 지수를 분석 모형에 포함하여 분석하였다. 또한, 이 연구는 사회적경제의 의존성을 측정하기 위하여 지역의 법인수, 매출, 창출 일자리에서 사회적경제가 차지하는 비중을 국가 수준과 비교하는 입지상 계수(location quotient)를 활용하였다. 감마 회귀 모형을 활용한 실증 분석의 결과, 법인 LQ와 매출 LQ를 종속변수로 설정한 모형에서는 지방소멸이 심해질수록 사회적경제에 대한 의존성이 높다는 결과가 도출되었지만, 일자리 LQ를 종속변수로 설정한 모형에서는 영향이 없었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze whether the degree of regional extinction intensifies dependency on the social economy. To achieve the purpose of the study, local municipalities in South Korea are utilized as the units of analysis. The dependent variables are proxy indicators measuring dependency on the social economy, while the main independent variable is the regional extinction index. Furthermore, to measure dependency on the social economy, this study utilizes the location quotient, which compares the proportion of the number of corporations, sales, and jobs created by the social economy within the municipality to national levels. Empirical results using gamma regression models indicate that in models where the number of corporations LQ and total sales LQ are set as dependent variables, an increase in extinction risk is associated with increased dependency on the social economy. However, no significant effects is observed in the model where job LQ is the dependent variable.
