국문 초록

본 연구는 문학공간의 관광 자원화와 이를 통한 지역 발전 방안에 대해 고찰하였다. 문학관광은 단순한 여가 활동을 넘어 문화적 체험과 교육적 가치를 제공하는 지속 가능한 관광의 한 형태로 주목받고 있다. 연구에서는 영국의 ‘스트랫퍼드어폰에이븐’과 프랑스의 ‘빅토르 위고 하우스 뮤지엄’, 그리고 한국의 ‘박경리 문학관’의 사례를 통해 문학 관광의 성공적인 모델과 그 잠재력을 분석하였다. 문학 관광의 발전을 위해서는 진정성 유지와 관광객 요구의 균형, 지속적인 콘텐츠 개발과 프로그램 혁신, 지역 주민 참여 유도, 다른 관광 형태와의 연계 강화, 국제적 네트워크 구축, 교육적 가치 강화, 지속 가능한 관광 원칙 준수, 경제적 가치에 대한 인식 제고, 디지털기술 활용, 품질 관리와 표준화 등이 필요하다. 문학 관광은 문화유산 보존, 교육적 가치 창출, 지역 경제 활성화 등 다양한 측면에서 중요한 가치를 지니고 있으며, 앞으로도 지속 가능한 관광의 한 형태로서 큰 잠재력을 가지고 있다. 이를 실현하기 위해서는 문학계, 관광업계, 지역 사회, 정부 등 다양한 이해관계자들의 협력과 지속적인 노력이 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study evaluated the translation of literary space into tourism resources, as well as regional development goals. Literature tourism is gaining popularity as a type of sustainable tourism that adds cultural and educational value to traditional leisure activities. In this study, the success model and potential of literary tourism were examined using the examples of Stratford-upon-Avon in the United Kingdom, the Victor Hugo House Museum(Maison de Victor Hugo) in France and Park, Kyung-ri Literary Museum in Korea. To develop literary tourism, it is necessary to maintain authenticity and balance tourist needs, continuously develop content and program innovation, encourage local residents to participate, strengthen links with other types of tourism, build international networks, strengthen educational values, adhere to sustainable tourism principles, raise awareness of economic values, use digital technologies, and standardize quality. Literature tourism provides significant benefits in a variety of areas, including the preservation of cultural heritage, the production of educational value, and the rehabilitation of the local economy. It also has enormous potential as a kind of sustainable tourism in the future. To achieve this, different players, including the literary world, the tourism business, the local community, and the government, will need to work together and continuously.
