국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화 가족교육에 대한 이해와 보육시설에서 실시되고 있는 다문화 가족교육 현황과 문제점에 관한 보육교사의 인식에 대해 살펴봄으로써 앞으로 보육시설에서의 다문화 가족교육의 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구내용은 보육교사의 다문화 가족교육에 대한 인식을 알아보고, 현재 보육시설에서 실시되고 있는 다문화 가족교육 환경 구성과 활동의 실시 현황을 보육교사의 경력, 학력, 다문화 가족교육에 관한 학습 여부에 따라 그 차이를 살펴보았다. 즉 첫째, 보육교사의 다문화 가족교육에 대한 이해도는 어떠한가? 둘째, 보육시설에서의 다문화 가족교육 현황은 어떠한가? 를 서울시, 경기도, 충남 보육시설에서 근무하고 있는 종사자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 인식과 태도 및 활동 실시전반에서 다문화 가족교육을 받은 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우 보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사들이 다문화 가족교육에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었으나 실제 교육 상황에서 환경구성과 교수자료, 지도방법 등에서 부족한 부분이 많은 것을 알 수 있었다. 즉 다문화 가족 영유아들의 효과적인 교육을 위해서는 보육교사를 위한 연수 및 교육도 함께 이루어질 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the understanding of education to multicultural-family and the childcare teacher's perception of the present condition, problem in childcare center. Through this study we had seen the basic source material of multicultural education in childcare center. The contents of study is to find perception about multicultural-education and to take a look at current multicultural-education environmental structures and its recent activity trends by child care teacher's career, learning and the completion of the multicultural-education course. So firstly, we asked about understanding level of child care teacher toward multicultural-education and secondly about recent trend of multicultural-education at child care centers. This study was done with the staff in charge who work at various childcare center cities, including, Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, Chungnam Province. The result of the research are as follows. First, after comparing group of education to multicultural-family to group of non education multicultural-family, group of education to multicultural-family gave higher perception to teacher-activity abilities compared to the group of non education multicultural-family. Second, Childcare teachers are aware of the need for multicultural education, but furthermore teachers need to study about environment composition, teaching materials and instructional method to make up for what they lack at activating field. Our results emphasize in particular the importance of the education to multicultural-family in teacher's perception and educational activities. Therefore, in conclusion, we must practice of teacher training system and education for multicultural child.
