국문 초록

본 연구 목적은 한국 차 산업의 위기를 극복할 수 있는 정책적 대안모색에 있다. 이를 위한 연구 방법으로는 국내 차 산업 동향과 세계 차 시장의 분석, 1990년~2023년까지의 전통차, 녹차, 홍차, 차 산업, 제다 등을 키워드로 한 빅데이터 분석으로 하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 1. 한국 차 산업 중장기 구조개선, 2. 가루차를 쌀 대체 작목화, 3. 전근대적 유통시스템을 혁신, 4. 시장 요구에 맞는 품종 개량, 5. 차 치유농업을 육성, 6. 글로벌 자원화 전략, 7. KT & G를 차 주력으로 하는 KT (Tea) & G로 전환, 8. 총괄할 컨트롤타워가 필요, 9. 지역적 여건에 맞는 차 산업 발전전략, 10. 융복합적 발전 방향을 모색 등의 정책 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 한국 차 산업이 새로운 도약의 전기를 마련하길 기대한다. 특히, 가루차는 쌀 대체작목으로 가치가 높다. 연관 산업 및 문화와 융합적 발전 가능성이 매우 높다. 차는 K-전통문화의 한류를 세계 무대에 올려놓을 수 있는 주요한 킬러콘텐츠이기도 하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find policy alternatives that can overcome the crisis in the Korean tea industry. The research method was a big-data analysis with keywords such as domestic tea industry trends, global tea market analysis, traditional tea, green tea, black tea, tea industry, and jeda from 1990 to 2024. Based on the research results, 1. improvement of the mid- to long-term structure of the Korean tea industry. 2. Matcha's rice alternative crop. 3. innovation in the pre-modern distribution system. 4. variety improvement that meets market needs. 5. fostering tea healing agriculture. 6. establishment of a global familial tea strategy. 7. conversion of KT & G to KT (Tea) & G, which is the main tea company. 8. need a control tower to oversee. 9. development strategies for the tea industry suitable for local conditions. 10. and policy alternatives such as seeking convergence/complex development directions are suggested. Through this, we hope that the Korean tea industry will provide a new turning point for leap forward. In particular, Matcha is a rice replacement crop, and has a very high possibility of convergence and development with related industries and cultures. Tea is also a major killer content that can bring the Korean Wave of K-traditional culture to the world stage.
