국문 초록

본 연구에서는 한국어 초급 수준의 학부 유학생 대상 한국어문화 교과목 개발을 위해 과제 기반 교수를 활용하는 실행연구의 과정을 보였다. 먼저 교과목 운영에 있어 문제 상황을 인식하고, 과제 기반 교수 모형이 적절한 대안이 될 수 있다는 판단하에 변화 계획을 수립하였다. 문화 내용 중에서 ‘문화 지식’ 및 ‘문화 관점’은 난도를 낮추었고 과제 기반 교수의 장점을 살려 ‘문화 실행’을 포함하였다. 또한 변화된 수업 계획에 따라 수업을 진행하면서 교수자이자 연구자로서 수업을 관찰하고, 학습자 대상 조사를 통해 성찰의 과정을 거쳐 수정된 계획을 도출하였다. 특히 본고에서는 과제 기반 교수의 수정된 수업 모형으로 ‘TTT’의변형된 모형인 ‘TTTT’ 모형을 제안하였다. 이는 먼저 문화에 대한 수업을 간단히 진행하고(Teach 1), 이후 과제를 수행하며(Task 1), 교사는학생들이 수행한 과제에 대해 언어적, 문화적 피드백을 주거나 특정 언어 항목을 교수하고(Teach 2), 마지막으로 다른 과제 수행과 비교하거나, 유사하거나 동일한 과제를 재수행하는(Task 2) 모형이다. 또한 본연구에서는 관찰 및 성찰한 결과를 바탕으로 과제의 내용 및 난이도를 조정하고 배열하였다.

영문 초록

This study presents the process of an action research that utilizes task-based teaching for the development of a liberal arts course aimed at undergraduate international students at the beginner level of Korean. It identifies problematic situations in course operations and establishes a change plan considering task-based teaching as a viable alternative. Among the cultural contents, 'cultural knowledge' and 'cultural perspectives' were simplified, while the advantages of project-based teaching were utilized to include 'cultural practices'. The researcher of this study implemented the revised teaching plan, conducted classes, observed the sessions, and went through a reflective process via surveys targeting the learners, which resulted in further modifications of the plan. Notably, this study suggested a modified instructional model called 'TTTT', an adaptation of the 'TTT' model. This model begins with a brief session on culture (Teach 1), followed by a task (Task 1), where the teacher provides linguistic and cultural feedback or teaches specific language items (Teach 2), and finally, involves comparing with or repeating similar or identical tasks (Task 2). The study also includes adjustments in the content and difficulty of the tasks based on the observations and reflections.
