“Seeing Dunhuang Again” is a brush painting created in 2020, measuring 70cm x 70cm, using the technique of colouring on silk. The work reproduces the artistic elegance of Dunhuang's cave murals through fine brushwork depictions, and at the same time incorporates the images of modern characters, creating a unique visual effect of dialogue between the ancient and the modern. Through the fusion of ancient and modern elements, the whole work not only demonstrates the classic beauty of Dunhuang art, but also reflects modern people's concern and admiration for traditional culture. Through delicate brushwork techniques and clever composition, the artist has successfully fused history and reality, tradition and modernity, creating a work of deep meaning and visual impact. “Seeing Dunhuang Again” is not only a tribute to Dunhuang art, but also a profound reflection on cultural inheritance and innovation. Through this painting, viewers can feel the artist's love for traditional culture and understanding of the spirit of the times, further inspiring concern for the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage.
