제3자 물류 기업 활용에 영향을 미치는 공급체인 리스크에 관한 연구

국문 초록

최근 글로벌 공급망 이슈로 인한 공급망 리스크 증대는 수출입 활동을 영위하는 화주기업의 유류비와 인건비 등 물류비용 상승을 유발하였다. 따라서 화주기업들은 물류 활동을 대신 수행하는 제3자물류기업에게 외주를 맡겨 공급체인 리스크 상승으로 야기된 경영상 문제들을 해결하고 있다. 또한, 제3자물류기업들이 스마트 창고, 자율주행 등 4차 산업혁명 시대의 기술을 활용하기 시작하여 이런 기술들과 기업성과 간의 관계를 검토할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물류 불확실성 환경 속 공급망 리스크를 분류하고 리스크 요인과 3PLP 기업 활용, 기업성과의 인과관계를 확인한다. 연구 수행을 위해 선행연구와 현직자 인터뷰를 바탕으로 설문지를 구성하였으며, 한국무역협회, 중소벤처기업협회, 대한무역투자진흥공사 등의 회원사 명단을 바탕으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 1,500부를 배포하여 223부를 회수하였으나 불성실한 6부를 제외하여 총 217개의 설문자료를 구축하였다. 수집된 설문은 PLS-SEM 방법론을 통해 가설을 검증하였으며, 연구결과, 공급망 리스크 중 수요 불확실성만이 3PLP 활용에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 3PLP 활용은 화주의 재무성과 및 물류성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

The recent increase in supply chain risk due to global supply chain issues has caused logistics costs such as fuel and labor costs to rise for shipper companies engaged in import and export activities. Therefore, shipper companies are outsourcing logistics activities to third-party logistics providers(3PLP) to manage supply chain risk and solve management problems caused by rising supply chain risk. In addition, as third-party logistics companies have begun to adopt and utilize 4th industrial technologies such as smart warehouses and autonomous driving, it is necessary to examine the relationship between these technologies and firm performance. Therefore, this study categorizes supply chain risks in a logistics uncertainty environment and identifies the causal relationship between risk factors, 3PLP utilization, and firm performance. To conduct the study, a questionnaire was constructed based on previous studies and interviews with current practitioners, and a survey was conducted based on the list of member companies of the Korea International Trade Association, the Association of Small and Medium Venture Businesses, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. The hypotheses were tested using PLS-SEM methodology, and the results showed that among supply chain risks, only demand risk had a significant impact on 3PLP utilization, and 3PLP utilization had a significant impact on shippers' financial performance and logistics performance.
