국문 초록

[연구목적] 본 연구는 대만의 교육체계의 특징과 방향성을 파악하고, 대학 입학제도 변천과정 및 2022년 이후의 대학 입학 정책의 변화를 분석하여 그 시사점을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. [연구방법] 대만의 교육체계의 특징과 방향성, 대학 입학제도의 역사적 변천과정을 파악하기 위해 관련 문헌과 자료를 분석하고 대학 입학의 주요 정책변화에 대한 역사적 고찰을 실시하였다. 2022년 이후 대만의 대학 입학제도에 대한 최신 정책문서 및 보도자료 등을 분석하여 새로운 방향성과 정책변화를 파악하고, 변화된 교육환경을 검토하였다. 이를 통해 시사점을 도출하였다. [연구결과] 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 대만의 대학 입학제도는 초기에 전통적이고 시험 중심적이었지만, 시간이 흐름에 따라 학생 다양성을 존중하는 방향으로 변화하였다. 둘째, 2022년 이후, 대만은 대학 입학제도를 다양성 강조와 입시 부담 감소를 위해 개편하였고, 입학 기회와 평가 방법 등의 다양화로 공정한 경쟁과 교육혁신을 추진하였다. 셋째, 대만과 한국의 대학 입학제도는 다양한 평가 방법과 입시 체제의 변화에서 차이가 있지만, 최근에는 양국 모두 다양성과 공정성을 강화하기 위한 노력이 나타나고 있다. [결론] 대만과 한국 모두 대학 입학제도에서 다양성과 공정성을 강화하고자 하는 노력이 추진되고 있다. 양국이 상호 학습가능한 분야는 다양한 평가 방법의 도입과 학생 참여에 중점을 두는 정책 등이며, 서로의 강점을 교환하고 발전시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

[Purpose]The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics and direction of Taiwan's education system and to derive implications by analyzing the change process of the university admission system and changes in university admission policy after 2022. [Methods] In order to understand the characteristics and direction of Taiwan's education system and the historical process of change in the university admission system, we analyzed related literature and data and conducted a historical review of major policy changes in university admission. We analyzed the latest policy documents and press releases on Taiwan's university admission system after 2022 to identify new directions and policy changes, and reviewed the changed educational environment. Through this, implications were derived. [Results] The main findings of the study are, first, that Taiwan's university admissions system was initially traditional and test-based, but over time it has changed to respect student diversity. Second, since 2022, Taiwan has reorganized its university admissions system to emphasize diversity and reduce the burden of admissions, and promoted fair competition and educational innovation by diversifying admission opportunities and evaluation methods. Third, although the university admissions systems of Taiwan and South Korea differ in various evaluation methods and changes in the admissions system, in recent years, both countries have made efforts to strengthen diversity and fairness. [Conclusion] In both Taiwan and Korea, efforts are being made to strengthen diversity and fairness in the university admissions system. Areas in which the two countries can learn from each other include the introduction of various evaluation methods and policies that focus on student participation, and ways to exchange and develop each other's strengths should be sought.
